J. Maddern Electric, LLC

Jim and his young apprentice did a fantastic job on a number of tasks we had been putting off for a several years. New lighting fixtures, new ceiling fans, and a number of other tweaks here and there. Very nice, hard working people who aim to please. Was nice seeing the skills being passed on to a younger generation as well. Very happy with every aspect of the work.

I am so happy with our new lighting. It made our basement so much brighter.

Responded promptly. Did not over sell. Love my new light fixtures. Very pleasant to work with.

Did a great job updating my old wiring. fast and dependable.

Highly recommend!

They did great work updating my old wiring!!!

Did a good job moving a ceiling light fixture, but the wire was not tucked up far enough into the ceiling making drywall repairs difficult.

J. Maddern did an electrical upgrade inside & outside my home. Jim was super quick to respond & get us scheduled & the job completed within a week! He was reasonably priced, knowledgeable & extremely professional. You wonâ t go wrong by hiring Maddern Electric! We will certainly be calling him the next time we need electrical work done. He was prompt. He got the work completed. His rates were reasonable.

They were very friendly and professional. Had my problem fixed in no time and were very courteous. Would recommend them to anyone and will be giving out their cards to our neighbors.

We had a wonderful experience with maddern. They gave us a fair quote and they even upgraded some additional plugs that I needed done. Price was fair and work was completed in one day.

Very prompt got job done very professional quick response will definitely call them back when I need more electrical work..

Fast and effective.

Fixed some outlets installed a hallway light did a great job. Very fast and professional!!

This is a scammer who does not know what he is doing. I hired him to get my electrical permit and everything to pass inspection. After paying him 500 for 1 hour of work he assures me **that is it, everything is good now** and he would file a permit (which took 2 weeks). The inspector gave me a list of things that he missed which I paid him to correct which was not done properly and some not done at all. Now he is threatening me that he will not remind his permit so I cannot ever get the work done if I do not pay him even more money to fix what he did wrong in the first place. I do not trust him to do it at this point and he threatens me definitely should get his license taken away.

Jim and his helper did an excellent job at upgrading my old 100amp service. The old wiring was a mess of spaghetti wiring done by former homeowners. End result turned out perfect, I know, because I have industrial electrical background. I highly recommend Maddern Electric, LLC.

I was pleased he came out the next day. I only had him replace an electric box and cover for the outlet box in the garage for the garage door openers. I feel $125.00 is a lot to pay for what I had done. $90 would have been adequate to cover his costs. But, he was a friendly man and came on time.

They did a good job. Arrived on time agreed. Cleaned up after themselves. Would hire them again.

Great service, great communication...

He came out same day I contacted him and performed the work successfully. Problem was solved to my satisfaction.

Jim knew what the problem was immediately, even before he got here, and arrived with the correct replacement switch. Will definitely call him again. Thank you Home Advisor.

Excellent experience, would definitely recommend to others
