JNJ Lawn Service

The owner of JNJ Lawn Service, Jose Noguera, has been exploiting my elderly parents for the last 3 years and cannot be trusted. My parents paid over $26,000 in 3 years to JNJ Lawn Service averaging $8000-$10,000 for lawn service. I live out of state and did not realize how bad my fathers dementia had become until after my mother passed away in March 2022. Afterwards, I started to handle my fathers finances and soon realized he has been paying these large sums of money to JNJ Lawn Service. I spoke to the owner, Jose, after I noticed a recent check for $8200 and first assumed it was an error and should have been for $82. Jose said it was correct and my father had prepaid for the year. My parents lawn is not that large and in no way justifies that amount. I asked for invoices from Jose and he has not sent one. I also immediately canceled his service and asked for the money back, but he refused claiming he already spent it. My father was in the hospital/nursing home and has since passed away. I have been working with a mediator said he was disgusted when he read my case. Both the mediator and I have tried to work with Jose for a refund, but he still refuses claiming my parents gifted him the money. Do not use JNJ Lawn Service!!

JNJ is unreliable. Jose does not respond to text messages. I reached out for lawn care on 5/4 we set up appointment for 5/9 and no one showed until 5/11. On 5/11 the agreed upon work was not complete and he said he would return next week to finish. He did not reach out or return to do any work the following week. He reached out saying he would come Saturday 5/28, 2 weeks later from original time. Jose did not come on 5/28 or anytime over the weekend nor did he communicate. I am fairly flexible with appointments and dates needing to change within reason if properly communicated. Highly disappointed in this companys service!

Jose and his crew came to work on my lawn as promised, did all the tasks promptly and did an outstanding job. I highly recommend them.

Hired them to cut grass; two weeks went by and they kept delaying. Never did cut it, and have refused to answer the phone or respond to texts since. Would not recommend a person that will shake your hand and promise you something then completely ignore you. Very unprofessional.

Within five minutes of inquiring through Home Advisor I received a call from the owner, Jose. He was professional, nice and knowledgeable. We met at my home several days later where we walked the property discussing my needs. I immediately felt comfortable with Jose who listened to me, made suggestions and was very friendly and agreeable. He gave me very fair prices for continuous lawn care and for tending to my garden which I am unable to do myself this year. Jose agreed to weed and mulch my two front beds within the next week. As promised his crew came several days latter to cut the grass. They were professional and thorough and appeared to take great pride in their work. I was very pleased with the look of the lawn and the job that they did. Last evening when I arrived home I was truly excited to see two freshly weeded and beautifully mulched flower beds which put a big smile on my face. I would highly recommend Jose and his crew for your lawn and landscaping needs. Thank you Jose! I look forward to working with you for many years to come.
