Original offer was 85$ to open the pipe, but then they charged 250$ for 20 minutes work. They need to replace the 10 inches length of the drying pipe from my AC unit.

The service tech was very personable and made extra effort to save me some money. He was prompt and showed concern about my issue and made every effort to resolve the repair to my satisfaction. I was so impressed that I hired the company to do the maintenance program for the next four years. YES! I would recommend this company.

This company does not stand behind their product or work

On July 12, 2017, an employee of JNL Home Services came to my home and wrote a work proposal for service on my air conditioning system.The proposal included the following: Modify the return plenum - the return plenum vent to the air handler was too small, constricting the airflow and causing mold to build up inside the air handler and the supply ducts. This work was quoted to me as $240 to complete. Clean and sanitize all interior grills - some mold had appeared on the interior grills. On July 17th, 2017, two JNL Home Services employees came to my home to perform the specified service on my air conditioning system. They were scheduled to arrive first thing in the morning, but did not arrive until 11:30 AM. Neither they nor their office called me to tell me they were going to be late. I called their office at 10 AM, and only then did I learn they had an emergency call and were running late. While removing the interior grills, they managed to get greasy stains all over the carpeting in every room. There was some sort of greasy substance either on the bottoms of their shoes, or the feet of the ladder they were using to reach the grills. When I pointed out the stains, they first denied responsibility, claiming the had put drop cloths down, so the stains must have already been there. When I told them we had just had the carpets steam cleaned less than a month earlier, and pointed out they only used the drop cloths when cleaning the ducts and did not use them for when collecting the grills for cleaning, only then did they acknowledge responsibility for the stains. One of them tried to clean one of the stains, and only succeeded in smearing the stain around, making the stain larger. Second issue, they used some kind of pressure washing device to clean the grills, and managed to strip paint off of about six of the thirteen grills. They claimed the areas that were stripped were due to "rust". The grills were *interior* grills in a climate controlled environment, they had never been rained on or subjected to excessive humidity. Third issue, they declined to modify the return plenum vent as specified in the work proposal, claiming there was a truss in the wall that precluded them from cutting into the wall. I was OK with that, I did not want them cutting into the wall if there was a structural integrity issue. However, when I asked for the $240 I was quoted for that work to be deducted from the final bill, they declined to do so, insisting I pay the full amount. So, when they had finished the work, they had left greasy stains on the carpet of four rooms in my home, paint stripped off of six of the interior grills, and a return plenum that still did not fit the intake to the air handler, and $240 paid for work that was never done. I have made numerous attempts to contact the owner of JNL Services in an attempt to resolve there issues. He has steadfastly refused to return any of my phone calls.
