Joshua was terrific! He was quick to respond, friendly and knowledgeable. He and Phil installed an outside flood light for me and he was able to fix the wire associated with the outlet that stopped working. Joshua was a pleasure to deal with and his initial quote matched the amount charged exactly. I recommend Joshua’s work without reservation. He communicated clearly, did not speak down to be, and did excellent work. He had to problem-solve some poor wiring by a prior owner, and his solution was safe, practical, and clearly labeled for the next owners. He will be my regular electrician from now on!

Joshua was the first person to answer our request for services. We had a number of small and large projects to do throughout our home. Joshua came out to get the necessary measurements and information within 12 hours of the request being sent! Joshua is amazing. He came to our home on the 4th of July when no other electrician was available and worked to get the power restored in our home. He troubleshooted the problem and found a defective main circuit breaker. He then went out and purchasing it and installed it that day so we had electricity by mid evening! Our kids nicknamed him "Thor" because he is a super hero who saved our day!

Joshua and his company, Riddick Electrical Services, helped my family to upgrade our home’s electrical service to 200A in preparation for adding central AC to an older home. Joshua impressed us with his thorough consideration of the complexities of the upgrade project and took extra time to explain his plan and answer all of our questions. We also asked for Joshua’s help to add a portable generator connection during the project which turned out great. Joshua answered all of our questions about how to use a portable generator to power the home and what to look for when choosing a generator. Joshua had excellent communication throughout the project which helped to make sure the AC installation team could do all of their work efficiently. Joshua noticed that the AC installation team electrician had used the top slot in the new panel for the new AC unit and removed the generator breaker Joshua had installed in the panel as a placeholder for the generator. As the generator needs the top spot in the panel due to a mechanical interlock with the main power breaker, Joshua graciously agreed to re-organize the panel to make everything work rather than making the AC installation electrician redo the AC electrical work. Joshua’s extra efforts allowed the rest of the AC installation team to continue their work and finish on schedule. We are very thankful for all the help Joshua and his team provided our family, and we would highly recommend him to others who are looking for a positive experience addressing their challenging electrical projects. When our family needs help with electrical work in the future, Joshua will be our first call.

We found Joshua when the original electrician we hired to install ceiling fans kept rescheduling. He gave us a fair quote. He came in when he said he would. He is knowledgeable and professional. Finished the work on schedule. We had such a good experience with him the first time we hired him again to upgrade our service to 200amp. He did an impeccable job again pulling the permits, keeping us updated on progress scheduling the final inspection etc. We would definitely hire Joshua again.
