Can anyone call me back? I had them do two houses. I have issues. 202-544-6897

Slow response. Changing on the agreement. I hired them to fix my roof and had a one year warranty and two months in, I have a leak and they are not fixing the issue telling me they can fix the leak at a new cost. They do not have good customer service.

A good experience and professional work

The DCRA Inspector who climbed up to do the final roof installation inspection on the complete replacement of my flat roof said it was **perfect**! Tim and Jen kept me informed at every step. They responded to all of my questions and unfailingly were accommodating and great to work with. They were polite and patient, providing terrific customer service. Their price was better, with the exact same contract specifications, than larger competitors. I highly recommend them to do your roof.

Always answered my phone calls and if he wasnâ t able to answer my calls, he would call me back. He replaced my roof on a timely manner and his price was very reasonable. I recommend him to my friends and family.

Tim is professional, timely, and communicative. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our roof was in desperate need of replacement, and Tim was transparent with his pricing and offered us multiple quotes so that we could make an informed decision. We had a few weather delays, but Tim was always honest and upfront about his timeline. He went above and beyond on our repair - we couldn't be happier with the quality and his communication. I can't say enough great things about JOT Home Repairs. Jenn, Tim, Javier, Israel and the entire team were absolutely incredible to work with. The customer service was excellent. Jenn and Tim were super responsive and up front about our entire exterior painting process. For our project, I wanted to try an "antique whitewash painting" for our exterior brick house. Tim was incredibly knowledgeable about the process and Javier executed the finished product to perfection. I'm incredibly happy to give this fantastic review. My husband and I absolutely love the finished look and receive compliments everyday from our neighbors. It's exactly what I wanted and JOT Home Repairs delivered "in spades". As a contractor myself, I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. Tim, Jennifer, and the installation team were professional, friendly, and extremely competent. Everything went as discussed, and workmanship was top notch quality. I will continue to use JOT for multiple projects in the future.

I am a senior and have lived in my home for over 60 years. I have hired quite a few contractors but JOT is one of the best when it comes down to communication from office to manager to installers. The job was done professionally and I would definitely recommend JOT with 5 stars and more if possible.

I would never use this company for any services ever. I paid for them to replace a flat roof and repair damages caused by the water infiltration including patching where water may enter in the future and patching/replacing sheetrock and painting that was done. I also paid for them to notch, punch, and hang doors. Jenny (owners wife) submitted a quote after Tim (owner), outlined the work and the materials in August, I paid a deposit and work began in September. The issues immediately started. Tim walks the site for the quote but is rarely if ever found on-site to review materials or quality of work. They quoted me for materials that I paid for and used INFERIOR materials. After I confronted Tim, he lied about the materials, I had to remind him that my boyfriend in fact was an architect and knew that the material in the pictures (I asked for status pictures at EOD) where not what was quoted. He never rectified this issue. My boyfriend and I had to walk the roof and have the workers fix quite a few issues that were scoped out and discussed as a part of the work including a CLEARLY distressed chimney that would have allowed for water penetration upon ANY rain. The roofers had to come back 3 times for the issues to be resolved. Tim? Once. The work inside of the house? Still not done. I have called. I have attempted to reschedule. I have sent emails. Texted pictures and STILL have not heard back from them. Tims preferred way of working is to have you the customer GC and quality check the work, because he is not able to or willing to do so. In fact, he attempted to blame me for not correcting the work in real-time, as if I am the foreman. You are better off getting a bunch of **handymen** and throwing them in a room to do the work because that is effectively what Tim does. They will promise you the moon, and at the end of it, you will have wished you never even asked them for the quote.

One delay for weather (understandable), one delay for getting shorted on materials but otherwise timely finish within the stated estimate. They cleaned up the debris. Fair price, good workmanship -- would definitely recommend JOT.

Tim is a really nice guy, very accommodating. Our roof was leaking, and I contacted Tim in the middle of the night and he responded first thing in the morning-- his team fixed it the very next day. We have a baby, so he pulled some strings to make sure he fit us in! The roof looks great, we've had no problems since.

JOT was very professional and did great work. This review is coming almost 2 months since the completion of the work and we have had a few storms since. Safe to say my roof is in great shape.

Tim and his wife Jen were super responsive and provided excellent customer service. His team did an excellent job and got the project done in a timely and professional manner. On top of that his prices are so competitive another competitor told me there was no way he could compete with it and didn't even bid! Anytime I sent a text, Tim followed up immediately with a phone call and if he couldn't call he would have Jen reach out. Anytime I had questions on the work or project Tim would personally come out and lay eyes on what I was questioning and provide solutions, all within budget! I highly recommend JOT for any and all of your roofing needs!

Tim was excellent to work with. Jen on the administrative team at JOT was equally excellent. They gave a proposal and stuck to it. Tim also took evening time to discuss this with my HOA. His team got the job done. I highly recommend working with JOT Home Repairs. One of my best experiences with contractors. They also provided a ten-year warranty on their work.

Tim was great all along. He gave me a bid in minutes, with no spin or up-selling. His rate also happened to be the lowest. Tim also showed up a few times during the two days of work. Beyond Tim, the crew doing the work were punctual, friendly, efficient. They cleaned up after themselves completely. Overall it was a quick and painless process.

My exterior house painting, on a house built in 1892, was power washing, brick/mortar repair, priming, painting, window wrapping. The painting was very detailed to bring out the intricate brickwork of the era in which it was built. When there were a few items that needed correcting, the owners complied without question. My entire neighborhood is now praising JOT for a job superbly done.

I hired JOT Home Repairs to paint the exterior bricks of my house. Tim was at the site took many pictures and I got the estimate the same day. They had the best estimate compare to two other places and started the job while we were on vacation. Jen provided me with pictures of process on a daily basis. I had no difficulty talking to her and she responding to every text, email, or phone call. I am so pleased with the outcome and they did an outstanding job. I've had a lot of work done on several of my homes. JOT is by far the best. If there were ten stars, it wouldn't be enough to rate this company. They were professional on all levels, they were on time as they said they would be, the administration paper work was incredibly professional and the work was second to none. One of the things I really liked about this company was that they were always available to speak with you via telephone, email, text and when necessary person to person. Communication was great!!! The work ethics was wonderful. They work hard long hours which displayed dedication to the project. Honest and reliable. Competitive prices (cannot beat it) I am so happy with the work and pray that we(the church) will be able to work on more projects with Brother Tim in the future.
