JP Chimney Service

JP Chimney service was excellent, they did a great job, were very pleasent,neat and did above and beyond to make the whole installation of my wood stove an enjoyable experience. Jim and his helper were very knowledgable and friendly and did a great job. I would reccomend anyone to have them to come your home and do a job for you.

I was planning on lining my chimney so I could replace my old boilers. Because of the shape and size of my chimney, the cost would have been about $2500. Jim suggested that I spend the money on purchasing higher efficency boilers and direct venting. He was honest even though it cost him the job. I appreciate that.

Jim was able to talk me through a few things over the phone. So he never actualy came to the house but was not afraid to save someone a few dollars.

Jim was very professional and thorough. I liked his straightforward, "can-do" approach. His prices are quite fair. He did the chimney cleaning on the day I moved an old stove out and a new stove in, and when we had a brief problem, he jumped right in and took over, just to help. He didn't rush. It was altogether a great experience having him do the work.

JP was great. I needed my firebox repointed. He e-mailed me back immediately, they were available in the timeframe I needed, came on time for the appointment, inspected everything and did what needed to be done, and everything was cleaned up. They even put back grate, logs and screen which had been cleared prior to their arrival. Exceeded my expectations, very professional. The work was excellent and the cost was far less than I expected it to me. Definitely a 5 star rating!

Hired JP Chimney Services for a leaking roof. Came in for the quote immediately the day after submitting the request. Afterwards, work done promptly as promised. Price probably was a bit high but then again we never had a leak in the roof, didn't get any other quotes and didn't negotiate. Quality of work was very good, though.

Jim and helper were on time, throughly prepared, knowledgeable and efficient. His price was as stated and is a life-long price. I was pleased that they cleaned up after themselves and were very respectfull to me and my property. I would not hesitae to reccomend this company to anyone.
