We hired JPW Custom Building & Renovations ,LLC to remodel our kitchen and we have to say that we have dealt with contractors in the past but JPW is the most awesome company to work with. James,Brook and Tom were all very helpful. James was't happy until we were. They were here every day on time and worked all day. We can't say enough good about this company. We highly recommend them and they will be the company we will use again for future projects. Great job, well done!!!!

I would not recommend contracting with JPW Custom Building and Renovations LLC. I cannot comment on the quality of their workmanship because he never did the job, but we had several issues with how he conducts his business. To begin with, he quoted us a figure on the project and then drew up a contract with a higher figure, he apologized and described it as a communication oversight, afterwards he attempted to charge us for work not in the scope of the project .ie he wanted to charge us for putting a countertop on a vanity that comes pre-assembled which he was to install, but the biggest issue we had James ( the companys owner ) is he does not communicate. We gave him his required deposit on 28 October for the project that was slated to begin on 7 December, we contacted him on 4 December to confirm the start time for the 7 December project at which time he informed us that he might not be able to start then but he would follow up with us on 5 December, after nor hearing from James by the agreed-upon date we texted him on 6 December ( we texted because he rarely answers phone calls, several times replying he was on scaffolding )end he told us due to a co-workers positive Covid test that he would contact us after 10 days to establish a new start date, he never called so we reached out to him and was able finally via text to establish a new start date of 9 January. On 8 January we reached out via phone then text to confirm the start time, he responded on 9 January that he would not be able to start the project on the new adjusted date at this time we expressed that he does not communicate in a timely manner, he apologized and we ended up eventually setting up two more start dates but the project never got started and each time with us having to contact him and finding out he was not going to start, finally on 21 January we were finally able to reach James and we requested that he start our project or refund our deposit, James chose to return our money stating that our supplies had never come in, we found that hard to believe since he had never mentioned a lack of materials in all the times he had previously rescheduled our project before. We also purchased over $2,000.00 dollars worth of materials (shower doors, faucets, shower panels, diverter valves, and other miscellaneous items ) that were to be part of this project, some of these were back-ordered but all arrived in a timely manner. I also went to the stores that James and I had selected the items that he was supposed to have ordered and all, I say all, of the items, were in stock, so if you do choose to use this company be wary and if you start to notice these tactics question and demand proof. Additionally, I have to question If he did not have the necessary equipment why he would have continued to set start dates, also, again equipment shortage issues were never mentioned until we requested a refund.

James and his crew were great to work with! They came and got the job done in a timely manner & he was the best price out of everyone I had bid the job. Definitely gonna use them again for all my other projects!

I am so happy with my new kitchen! James and Brooke were amazing and accommodating to work with. The job was finished ahead of schedule and looks perfect! I will definitely use them for any future projects! Highly recommended!

JPW Custom Building & Renovations demo'd & rebuilt our rotting wood pergola. They replaced it with a composite material that has a 50 year warranty. We have a young lab who found all of the demo'd wood w/nails, etc VERY interesting. I called and asked if, by some chance, there was a way they could come back & cover up the debris. I was amazed when Matt & Tanas showed up within the hour with a giant tarp to cover & "lab proof" all of the old wood! The crew was extremely respectful, quick to respond to any requests, concerns, or questions that I had (of which I had many). We had many delays with all the rain over the winter. I was very impressed that they actually came out on a Sunday to complete the job, and spent the better part of the day here. Our new pergola looks great! I would highly recommend James and his entire crew if you are considering any renovations!

They do beautiful work, and I felt safe knowing he collects a deposit, then 1st week draw, and then the remainder of the balance on completion! Don't have to worry about this company running off with your money! And best of all I feel like my Deck is better than any home in my neighborhood!

We hired James Williams to build a covered patio and add a door and window for a 2-3 week job, we paid him for half of the job, he left saying he would return that next Monday and never returned. He kept putting us off saying he would return after the roof he ordered was in. After 5 weeks of excuses I called the roof company, and he never placed the order. Five months later he never returned and took our money. After hiring another contractor to complete his mess, the Inspector said that the window he installed did not have the proper support, the wood he used for the roof structure and the outdoor cabinet was interior wood, the roof line was not high enough to add flashing under the upstairs window, the stone overlay fell off of the posts after a week, water was pouring down against our house where he did not flash the structure, he left gaps in the frame of the door allowing air in, the cabinet he built for our 20 depth fridge was only 16 wide, etc We did not pass inspection, we were reported to the City bc of his mess. Bad business and apparently he often moves after doing the same thing to others. Do NOT give him any money until the job is completed and passes inspection through codes!

Work Done: Laminate Flooring; Outside House Roof Trim, Including Carpentry and Painting; Window Sill & Molding Repair and Painting. THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT! THE PRICE WAS GREAT AND COMPLETED BEFORE DEADLINE! FROM THE START, DEALING WITH JAMES, HIS OFFICE AND CREW WAS A PLEASURE! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND JPW CUSTOM AND BUILDING TO ANYONE! I WILL BE USING THEM AGAIN! - James gave a quick, fair and accurate quote, which did not vary throughout the job. He was extremely easy to work with from start to finish. He was professional and polite in every way, as were his employees. He was aware and sensitive to the deadline and met it far in advance. His crew worked tirelessly and did not cease until the job was done, even in difficult weather! After the initial completion, James came to go over a punch list and anything that was of the slightest concern he addressed with promptness and willingness to make sure we were satisfied. He regularly visited and stayed on site to make sure the work was done without fault. Never once did I regret my decision to hire JPW and WILL DO SO IN THE FUTURE!

He goes out of his way to get the job done.

They are fair and honest.
