Jason painted my kitchen and bathroom cabinets. The result was fantastic. He completed the project in the time he promised and his attention to detail was excellent. Our kitchen cabinet refinishing project was a combo of refacing existing as well as painting new cabinets. I purchased all new doors and drawer fronts and they came paint ready. Jason was a great creative adviser on the project and we enjoyed his artistic expertise in addition to his superior painting skills. His pricing was very fair and we had other quotes to do the same work that were much higher. The finished product far exceeded our expectations and my wife and I now look at our kitchen and marvel at how amazing it looks. For future refinishing projects I will not hesitate to hire Jason once again.

Jason, of J. Poplar, did a great job painting and updating our cabinets in our 27 year old kitchen. The cabinets and layout were still to our liking, so we decided instead to have them painted a much lighter color, and changed all the hardware. Jason did the entire job in our home by himself, and had no other job during that time. His attention was totally on our kitchen. Jason is very conscientious, has creative ideas, and leaves the job with attention to cleanliness. Additionally, he is very customer focused to give the homeowner a result that is beyond expectations.

I was looking to have my cherry cabinets cleaned and refinished for quite some time before I came across J. Poplar on this website. Although painted cabinets are popular now, I wanted my 20 year old cherry wood cabinets to be restored as close to new as possible. Jason was the first person to really listen to what I wanted. (And I had about 5 people out in the past year.) I decided to go with him and I am very glad I did. As others said, he was prompt, professional, reasonably priced, completed the job in the time he said he would, and most importantly, exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend Jason.

Jason did an excellent job refinishing and painting our kitchen cabinets. We typically do not write reviews. However, his craftsmanship and attentional to detail was beyond our expectations. He approached the work as if it was his own kitchen and is a true professional. We had other contractors working on our home at the time who originally advised us to not refinish the kitchen cabinets. When the job was complete, they were asking for his business card!!! I highly recommend Jason. He is a true professional, an outstanding craftsman, customer centered, and easy to work with!!

He did an excellent job painting my dark oak cabinets in distressed grey tones, they look beautiful it looks like a new kitchen. He gave me a lot of helpful information in deciding to have them painted. I would highly recommend him, he was very clean and neat in his work.
