He lies constantly about everything that has to do with the job. He does not use all the materials he said he is going to use and he does not do a good job on top of it.

Do not hire this bum for any project. He lied and used bad material When I tried to call to fix my driveway, he does not answer. He is a bum, liar, cheat Do not EVER trust him

BUYER BEWARE I hired James Pryor, owner of JP Gaseline and Excavations from Turtle Creek, based on the recommendation from HomeAdvisor. I gave this contractor a deposit of $500 (in the form of a check, which he quickly cashed the same day). He took my money and did not provide the service. I never saw him again. He was supposed to start the job the next day, but he was a no-show and said it was due to a business problem. I gave him 2 more opportunities to get the job done, but again he was a no-show both times and did not call to cancel or reschedule. He stopped answering my phone calls and did not respond to text messages until I sent him a text message telling him to return my deposit. He quickly called me and agreed to do so. but true to his nature, he lied, and after that call, he again refused to answer any more of my phone calls and did not respond to my voicemail and text messages. He lied about returning my deposit when both my son and a representative from HomeAdvisor spoke with him. The bottom line, James is a very unreputable person that I have found to be dishonest and cannot be trusted. What a disgrace he is to his field. I have yet to be refunded my deposit (one month later)... and, of course, no communication from him. I do hope he responds to this review because I would like to know why he feels justified to steal $500 from a senior citizen. Leopards do not change their spots. BEWARE

Total professional...hard working man

I hired this company to replace part of my parking lot at my office. There are many types of asphalt, the type used on the surface was a low grade. It has large rocks instead of the small ones used in parking lots. They were hired to seal the entire parking lot. I said not to seal the new asphalt so it would cure, it was sealed. The job was sloppy! Some areas were covered, others so thin. In some places, no seal was applied. The sealant was slopped on my concrete sidewalks, I was told it would be cleaned, it was not cleaned. Planter boxes were damaged by sealant, also did not paint the lines on the entire lot!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They came in on short notice and did the job I needed done at a reasonable price and in less than 3 hours. Glad I hired them.

JP was great to work with. He helped me to make an informed decision and completed the job better than my expectations. I will hire him again for my next project.
