J.R. Alvarez and Associates, Inc.

Highly recommend Joe as contractor. He and his team are friendly, knowledgeable, and unlike other contractors, Joe actually listens to his clients and helps clients navigate the construction process. Joe was onsite everyday of project and easily accessible. Last minute changes were handled professionally. Also, appreciative of Joe's regular communications in terms of project schedule and or issues. Would recommend as contractor.

Very professional, great work, very comfortable with his knowledge and abilities. Joe and his crew were also very personable, We had an attached garage turned into two rooms and the project turned out beautifully. Everyone (including me) are impressed with the final results and quality of work.

Joe and all this crew men were very professional and skilled. Joe who came out to give us a quote on our project showed up every day with his workers to oversee all the work. He handled questions and last minute changes easily and was very fair and reasonable regarding price. We are very pleased with are beautiful covered patio and are already booking our next project with this company!

they did a very professional job, precise to every details, and very co-operative, to keep my yard clean. i will seek their service for some other job in the future.

Joe was easy to work with on my project. From our first meeting I was comfortable with him and the work that needed to be done. Will use him in the future.

He takes a lot a pride in his work and good value for the money

Of all the pros I contacted from Home Advisor, Joe was the only one I met on the day we agreed to meet. Joe and his crew kept a clean work area. The price was reasonable which is great in my book. I received outlandish quotes from the other contractors. Joe understood I wanted a basic deck low to the ground. He was very easy to communicate with. The deck was built out of redwood. After four days, the deck came out great and the clear sealer pulled the reddish hue out of the wood. I wish I could post a picture.

After just a few days I already felt comfortable having Joe work on my project. (Total garage renovation, door, insulation, drywall, electrical, attic storage with pull down ladder, new window, AC, security door, new shelf). You could tell Joe has a lot of experience and does quality work. Best part was that while I kept adding to his scope of work he adapted to his schedule and finished the job in a timely manner. He always kept me informed on the progress and even though I trusted his judgement he always passed everything by me for approval. He cleaned up neatly after ever work day which was just a pleasure to see. Glad all his reviews were true and I would definitely use him again. A straight up great professional contractor that I can tell takes great pride in his work.

He and his assistant were very professional and did a wonderful job on fixing the problem that we had on our hardwood floor. I will DEFINITELY use his services again when needed. He gave me a couple of options to choose from and he was nice and very easy going. I highly recommend!!

Joe is easy to work with and keeps you informed of any schedule change. I had the wood garage side door and frame replace with a new fiberglass door. The new door works and looks great apart from the mastic seal that could have been applied neater by Joe's assistant! I would have given Joe a 100% score, but they managed to break the electrical wires to our burglar alarm after I had pointed it out and asked them to be careful. That said, I would still use Joe again for future projects.

They did a good job.

I was impressed with his promptness and honesty. He listened to me, made suggestions, and made sure I was comfortable with what he was doing. Very easy going man and plays good music. I would and plan to hire him again. I would recommend this company above others.

Did major renovations at my office and other work at my home. Excellent job at a fair price and completed in a timely fashion. Good guy to work with and his subs are good as well.

I was really impressed with his promptness. He listened to what I wanted and try to make me comfortable with the situation and make suggestions.
