J.R. Asphalt Repairs

James repaired and sealed our driveway in October 2022 and by June 2023 part of his repair work was coming undone. We spoke to him and he assured us that he would come and fix it, and it is now 3 months later and he never came to fix it. Extremely poor work ethic. He takes no pride and care in the work he did. If he makes repairs and then the repairs come undone, he doesn't know who you are anymore. It was expensive. I would not recommend him.

They did a great job in a timely manner with minimal impact to our access to our house. They showed up when they said they would,completed the job in 2 days as promised,one day of prep.one day to complete. It looks good,just what we wanted it to look like.

James and his team were amazing. They exceeded all expectations and helped transform our small church lot from a dirt surface to smooth asphalt. I needed to have my driveway sealcoated for the first time. I found J.R. Asphalt Repairs on HomeAdvisor. James called me the next day and he was excellent to deal with. He was very professional and informative on what I needed. The job was completed just days later. He worked around my schedule. James and his brothers worked so well together that they completed the job in an amazing 1.5 hours. Long before the threat of rain. I was impressed! I have had my driveway sealed several times. This is by far the best job. James explains everything and did a great job. Already got several compliments from the neighbors.

James was knowledgeable and friendly during the estimate and when he came to do the work. He completed the driveway sealing on the agreed day. The coating looks good and the edges, etc. are neat and clean.

I would highly recommend James for driveway pavement Projects. He worked with my ideas of additional asphalt coat on top of existing to cover up cracks and has done an exceptional job and i'm very happy with the result. He was able to fit my work in between his other projects and got the job done in a matter of less than a week from time of contact with him on the phone.

A really good job. James & crew took the time to do it right. We hired for tearing out crumbling sections, patching and then sealing a long drive with periodic cobblestone strips. So the care taken to do it right shows immediately. Definitely re-hiring to maintain!!

JR was prompt and punctual on the time he would arrive, walked me thru my options on my 20-year-old asphalt driveway. Gave me a fair quote on the spot and agreed to do work following week. They contacted me promptly and actually showed up early to do the job. I had some major cracks which they worked on and did the best they could in filling them. I had some concerns and called them back to fix some of the cracks that reappeared and I had a time contacting them. Turned out the first person I meant gave me an old business card with a incorrect phone number. They did call me after I contacted them on line and came back it resealed the entire driveway with a second coat. They are very concern with customer satisfaction.

James was excellent--called me back promptly, answered all my questions, was not pushy, seemed very knowledgeable and competent and it showed after his work. He was very neat and professional. Very reasonably priced. Went beyond my expectations taking care of the driveway. Highly recommend him.
