Replaced two FPE electrical panels: main panel and subpanel. Got 3 quotes from HomeAdvisor: (1) Luminous @ $4,851; (2) Charter Electric @ $3,474 and (3) JRC Electric @ $1,400. All three quoted exactly the same specification (replace panels per existing circuitry and just meet mandatory county code requirements); all three included building permit. JRC and one other quoted Square D product. I selected JRC and they did an excellent job. The county inspector commented on the quality and neatness of work as being exceptional. JRC was prompt, friendly and courteous. The two â bigâ companies use a â price bookâ ; JRC simply looked at the labor hours and material cost and quoted accordingly. I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job.
