Despite the fact they were very busy with larger jobs, and we had a very small walkway, they took great care of us.... the work looks amazing, the crew was super polite and professional, and once they started, worked fast! Very honorable, and helped us to stay within our budget....beyond superior for business ethics!

Juan Carlos and his crew worked very hard to complete the job well. Laboring under very uncomfortable conditions (90 + for several days), they completed the work quickly and came back to make some finishing touches. They were not satisfied until I was satisfied. I found Carlos very easy to work with and would recommend his company.

The team worked hard and the project turned out great. The patio has given us so much extra living space! I would recommend doing stamped concrete for sure, and using J&R would be a good choice. It took longer than originally quoted, but that is partially due to weather. Also note that they do take credit cards, but there is a fee to do so. Overall a good experience with a great outcome.

* Carlos was prompt in coming for all scheduled meetings. * He provided us with different options to consider. * He gave us options that would work with our budget as well. * In the final analysis - we ended up doing more on our project than we had initially planned. Carlos and his crew were extremely knowledgeable about their craft, on time, truly professional. They are easy to work with, work was exceptional and tidy. They are quite too. I would hire them again without any concern. I would recommend them highly for home improvement projects.

After the concrete was done, it cracked and was damaged within the nine months. The job was done however it was not done correct or the materials were not good. The contractors kept saying they would come out, kept putting me on the back burner. He came out four different times, the final time he came and put cocking in it. He basically did a cover up job rather than a real repair. Only some of the cracks were taken care of. The foundation continues to crack and fall apart.

Carlos and his crew replaced rotting wooden retaining walls with treated timber ones. The project was started on time, and their work was quick, neat, and very well done, with very little waste. Carlos was very easy to work with. I was very happy with the results and would use them for future projects.

Carlos was very friendly and explained the process to me. I was picky about the layout of the walkway. He and his assistant were very patient and rearranged the layout until I was satisfied. They worked very hard and did a beautiful job, even though they ended up working in some pretty nasty weather. Not only was the work well-done, but they were very respectful and helpful.

I found that in working with Carlos, he was very responsive to my needs. The process of estimating the cost of the project, obtaining materials, and installing my patio was the easiest project I ever completed. Even though there was a problem during installation (the cable to my internet connection was severed), the majority of work was completed quickly. He and the crew returned to bury the cable and completely finish the project once informed of the cable repair. He even came back a few days later to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. He does not take credit cards.

Working with Carlos from JR Home Improvements was great from beginning to end. He came out within a day or two of my request for an estimate and then got an estimate back to me within 48 hours. We were able to schedule our work in about a week and the job was done in a week--we had our outside steps for our townhouse repaired/replaced and painted as well as a board on the exterior of the house over our garage door replaced. I would definitely call them for future work!
