    The workers who did the job were timely, and represented JR Putman well. The prepared the work area before they started by laying down tarps to protect my wood floors and did a great job of cleaning up before they left for the day. They would repeat the process until the job was completed.

    Salesman that came to our home basically lied about a few things , They charge way to much for the work that was done. The workers did a great job and were on time every day. So I liked the work they did, but not the salesman.

    My bathroom remodel did not go as smoothly as hoped. First on the day the work was supposed to start, as we were waiting for them to show, we got a call saying the shower stall we wanted was not what came in. I do not know if the wrong stall was ordered or the wrong one was shipped, anyways we were told it was a 2week delay. 2nd, after choosing from the samples of the flooring, we were told later that that style was discontinued. So we had to choose from 4-5 different styles, I am not sure why we were limited to just those samples as I would have preferred a little different style then what was available. 3rd when getting our proposal and agreement wy wife insisted on a new toilet that was bone colored, when the workers showed the toilet was almond. My wife called Putnam and When questioned found that there were no toilets in bone so almond was substituted without telling us. So while talking to Putnam she asked if she could go to home maintenance store and see if she could find one, Putnam said they would get one fromthe store if she found one. Home maintenance store said there was only one brand that carried bone and it was a 2 week lead time. Had there been better communication I believe that toilet could have been ordered and received since there was a 2 week delay. 4th, when the bathroom was done, on the walkthrough I was kinda taken aback when I asked why the drywall was not painted, although the spacking was on, and I was told I did not pay to have that drywall painted, even though it was part of the shower. And finally originally we were told that it would take 2-3 days, it lasted 4. And to be fair we were told that they would come back and replace the toilet in 2 weeks if we wanted, but honestly we just wanted this work done. Although I said I would recommend Putnam, I would definitely tell anyone who asked that there were problems. I understand that problems happen but for how much this cost I would have liked to see a little more concern on putnams side.

    I paid $7,000 for a new shower pan, bottom row of tile replaced, new shower door. The employee placed yellow tile across the bottom row. I had him tear it out. My tile is stone brown. I wanted a contrast color if it could not be matched. Plus it was all uneven. I ran to the tile store and got some contrast pieces. JR Plumbing sent over one of their tile people, he did an excellent job. The shower door looks great, also. Then they brought back the first guy, Geraldo, to cover the red sealer with white stuff. He told me they didn t say they would complete the job. I had paid a 10% down. When the secretary called the next day to get payment, I told her they need to fix their mistake and paint where they messed up. My wall is golden eggshell and they left a section white. The workers came, I had the paint but had no stir stick. The said they would find something to use. They didn t stir the paint because the oil was running down the wall. I opened the can and saw the oil floating on the top. I would never use this company for ANY future projects. The tile person and the shower doors are perfect. The finish work was shoddy.
