JR Renovations

We hired Josue to do a complete renovation and major remodel of our downstairs including adding a bathroom, replacing the flooring and light fixtures and reframing closets. He indicated that he had the experience and expertise to do this and shared the types of tasks he has done in the past. However, he was not honest about his skills. He installed a column with no bracing...it was completely unattached to anything except two rails...that fell and hit my husband. He installed both the crown molding and the chair rail upside down. He did not understand what a chevron pattern was and installed the tile incorrectly even when my husband laid out the pattern for him TWICE resulting in us having to spend another $330 dollars on the tile. He never wrote anything down and, as a result, would often do things incorrectly which had to be changed. He did not manage his money well and was constantly seeking extra funds; however, he refused to produce a written account of where the 32 THOUSAND we had already given him had gone. He originally quoted us 3 months on the project. When, after 11 months he still was not finished, we finally fired him. DO NOT HIRE HIM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. You will regret it.

Very friendly staff!
