Had over 8 no-shows. Screws missing from roofing panels. Metal sheet bent. Gaps in the overlap of panels. Have asked 5 times to correct issues and they said they would, but did not. Looks bad. They may not fear my review, but they will Gods.

We all have been through some hard times with the Covid 19. Many changes have disrupted our lives and has caused almost every situation to be a struggle or inconvenience. I too was upset at the company because I had been used to holding Professionals accountable for their Services. then I realize that the world had changed, things were different, The world was stressed over the changes that has came alone. I was too. I called, I bitched until it hit me. they have had changes too. Give them the benefit of the doubt. I called and apologize to the girls in the office and after a little while, I spoke with Jessie the owner and he made sure my roof was done correctly. You see, he had so many people contact him for his Services. he was overwhelmed and hired some new contractors. They told him that they knew how to do tin roofs. No, they just had done shingles. The work was complete. It did not look right. I called Chad and he came out took pictures. The old crew came back and redone the places that were looking bad. Did one hell of a Job. Jessies gave me a discount. This is a Great Company that has come upon hard times like the rest. But they did not let it take him down. This is a Great Company that cares. Please give them a break, I Promise, They will treat you right. They may miss a return call, but they are busy making sure they are taking care of other customers before you. Thank you Guys... Love my Roof.

Good work on 5â gutter installation. Cleaned up nice and gutter looks great. Busy company that that does a lot of work, there is a reason other companies arenâ t this busy. If you use another company be mindful of how quick they can get you done, Construction is a busy industry right now so if they can fit you in abnormally quick I would question as to why they can.

I would have given a lower rating if I could. We contracted them to replace our leaking roof on May 11. At that time they told us it would be a couple of weeks before they could start. We gave them over $6000 deposit. We were given an install date of June 24. They never did show up and they never returned any calls. I did receive one email response from Amy on July 27 that she would get a definite date for us. Never heard anything else. Today is September 30 and we still have no information. From reviews, I have been able to find this seems to be a very common practice with them. It is a shame that they have so little respect for their clients that are supplying their income.

I hired J. S. Construction Association, Inc.to re roof a pool roof, re flash skylights, repair drywall damage, interior painting, build a bookcase, install a new tub drain, signed a contract on May 20, the work was suppose start on June 10, work has been rescheduled twice, was suppose to start today, no one showed or called me, I called the office and they said it was pouring out where they were, I said that there is plenty of inside work to be done, I was told that they need to do the roof first, I feel like I am being taken advantage of

The initial inspection and information I received was very professional. I was verbally told it would be 3 weeks. Then I received a contract for 4 weeks. I tried calling to discuss this and received no response. I also emailed with no response. Then the day before I was scheduled I received an email stating there would be a delay. It was 2 weeks before I heard from them again with a new install date. Then that date also got changed . I was very frustrated as I already had a leak showing on my living room ceiling. It was paint ruffled with one tiny crack at the beginning. By the time the roof was done I had plaster falling off the ceiling. I communicated this by email and phone but received no response. When the roofers finally appeared they did a great job both with the roof and the clean-up. So, the beginning and the end were good but the middle was the pits. They need to work on their communication skills and their timing.

I am very displeased with this company. I would not ever recommend them to anyone. The guy that came out my husband met with him and he was really nice. We gave them a substantial amount for a down payment. It has now been two months and still no roof. At first they answered the phone for my husband but kept trying to say it was due to weather that they had to push us out till May 18th 2020. Now I cannot get a return phone call from the office nor the contractor. I have left messages on the office phone and on the contractors personal cell phone. The contractors name is Chad Quesenberry.

I signed a contract for a new metal roof installation and gave them a sizable sum for the deposit, it has been nearly 2 weeks and I have heard nothing from them, and the deposit check has cleared my bank. I have sent a couple of emails and no response, I understand if there is an issue with material, or being backed up on work, but they should at least let me know something! Not hearing anything is making my wife think we just got ripped off.

So far I've had to rate all 5 stars because I could no proceed unless I put a rating in. My husband and I hired JS today as a matter of fact and I very excited and eager for the job to begin. Carl was so nice and very professional and gave us a very good quote for the job. I can't wait until the project is done. Will be rating upon completion!

Hiring this company was the worst decision we have ever made. We hired the company back in August of 2019 and they are still working on the project today. The job was for roofing, siding, and foundation work on a 900 sq. foot guest house. You have to continually call or message them to see if they are going to come to work. They never return calls or messages. Communication with the company is horrendous. During the roofing part of the project, one of the contractors (the project manager brother) left two gaping holes in the roof from December until March. We found the holes in March when we went to get our lawnmower out of that part of the building. Because of this, the floor rotted out, the sheeting in the roof rotted out, and our mower almost got ruined. My husband literally fell through the floor trying to get our mower out of the building! They gave us a headache about fixing the mistakes they caused and tried to price gouge us and say that it would be an additional $1440 to do the framing on the floor in this tiny 8x12 building. We also discovered that they laid metal roofing over the rotten sheeting and even laid it over the holes without even filling them in! We had to have them come tear out that part of the roof and redo it since the rot there was caused by them. After paying them over $20,000 for foundation work, the foundation fell 10 days after their work. It took them three times to fix the foundation to where it finally stayed and did not fall. They had to fix 2 issues with the vinyl siding caused by their men leaving ladders up against our building and punching holes in the siding on two different occasions. When my husband did a walkthrough because we thought the project was ending soon, we found shoddy work such as missing screws in the roofing, crooked caps on the roof, end caps not installed, vinyl siding not installed on a part of the building toward the top (raw wood left open to the elements), the rotten wood under the roofing, etc. The list goes on with this company and it has been over 10 months of a nightmare. For a hefty price tag of almost $35,000 for this small guest house, you would think we would have received quality work and service. The opposite is true. I recommend you stay away from them at all costs! They will use every excuse in the book from weather to crews calling out, etc. We were even told there was only x number of clear days in three months, but I knew better since I had kept a calendar of every clear day that could have been worked since we were sending stuff to our lawyer because we were ready to sue and go to court to end the nightmare. I have hundreds of calls, text, and email logs that I had to send because they never would communicate about when/if they were going to work. We signed in August and told them they would start the second week of September. They started the week of Thanksgiving because I had to nag them so much to get them to work. My mistake was that I paid more than the 50% they require upfront. Chad (the one who does estimates) is professional and nice, but the others have been the opposite. BUYER BEWARE! UPDATE 6/29/20. The nightmare did not end. After walking through the project, we discovered metal placed over rotten wood that they caused along with numerous other items. I recommend finding any other company but this one for your job.

"In response to this review, the scope of your project was very in depth. When the roofing portion of your project began it was discovered that the home had SEVERE foundation damage to the point that the rear of the home was almost to the point of collapsing. Major structural repairs had to be performed to even make the home safe enough to be occupied. It was further discovered that the existing framing was incorrect. There was several repairs made which were beyond what you paid for and you were not charged for. It is the policy of J.S. Construction that an initial down payment of 50% is paid down upon signing of the contract and the remaining 50% paid when the scope of the work in the contract is completed. It can further be proven that severe weather has been a MAJOR factor in the progress of your project. To be noted there was a flood at the location of the project and due to the quality repairs to this house it was able to withstand the flood waters which it would not have been able to prior to the extensive repairs. All aspects of each contract are exterior in nature which are completely weather sensitive. Due to this factor we have to make the judgement call to proceed in accordance to the weather. We are actively and diligently working to complete your project, however we have to be logical and responsible enough to proceed as the weather permits."

Will not return phone calls . Over ordered shingles by 6 packs refused to refund or take extra shingles back. In my opinion he over measured and overcharged for the extra shingles that l have no use for.

"Samuel, I'm an estimator for J.S. Construction. You didn't pay extra for the shingles. The roof was sold as a package. We always figure in extra for waste. The amount varies for each job. You were charged for the shingles that were put on your roof and the services provided. We always purchase extra."

My roofing project with this company was great. I was quoted $3100 for this project to be completed. This was completed on time and great. My siding install was quoted at above $4000. I paid half down on both of my separate projects per the quote. This was contractual to be completed not 12/25/2019. I signed the contract in October. Not done. No correspondence is other than a text saying *ramping up* a week or so before Christmas. Then nothing happened. I have called, texted, and asked for a refund from my second project. Nothing. I spoke with the ladies in the office, nothing. There has not been enough weather for an excuse prior to Christmas so COVID 19 excuses are a non-starter. I just want my $1300 refunded.

I signed a contract with this business on July 20, 2019. I have begun to make load payments and they have not contacted me about a roof project that was supposed to start by the end of August. I have called multiple times and they have not returned my calls. I have to continually call them.

The work on my roof was delayed for 3 months. The rep I was dealing with, Chad Quesenberry, stopped answering my phone calls and texts. The workers left a lot of nails in the yard and on the driveway. They didn't clean the area under the waste trailer they parked in the driveway. Once it was moved, I had to clean that area. Parts of the original underlayment were left without being trimmed so they are visible now that they've left. I'm still cleaning nails out o the yard, gutters and flower beds. I wouldn't use them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

There is a major Fortune 500 company which is in nationwide and in their contracts it lays out that project start times can be up to 180 days. As a word of caution to all homeowners who are getting projects performed. If you hire a contractor who isnt booked or is able to immediately start your project there is generally a reason why that contractor is not busy and usually it is due to poor workmanship. From my investigation of this complaint, I found that the debris that were not collected were minimal and very easy to be overlooked. At J.S. Construction project site clean up is one of our top priorities on every project. Chad Quesenberry contacted you numerous times regarding your project start date. Any issues with the workmanship were promptly addressed and the workmanship was found to be performed to manufacturers specifications. They replaced some of my roof that was not part of the original job at no cost which I appreciated.They did that because they originally ordered the wrong color but they ordered the correct color and did the extra roof areas to make up for the error. The crew that worked on my project were very professional and did good work.
