This company was hired by my parents to build a deck for their home. Deck was built and did not pass final inspection. My dad made the assumption that the builder would know the deck did not pass final inspection by the borough of union beach. It stood like that for close to a year and when I became involved in selling my parents home I called to ensure final inspection had passed. When I contacted the borough they told me that the permit was still open due to failure of final inspection. I called Jeff Dunn and informed him, and he was surprised and claim that my dad should have called him to tell him it failed. Afterwards it took some going back and forth to get the work scheduled to be done to address the failure. Once the work was being done I get a text from Jeff Dunn telling me he needs an additional $650 for parts and labor due to the changes from the Union Beach Construction department to pass final inspection. He told me this on the last day of the scheduled 3 day work cycle. He also told me that he would not schedule the inspection unless he was paid. I agreed to pay him on this late notice and sent a wire transfer which his bank held up due to no fault of my own. Now he is not finishing the last part of covering up some holes because he states he is too busy. I am glad I was never part of the original negotiation because I would have never chosen this company to do the original build based on my current dealings with him.

I had needed a new front porch and came across JSD, received an estimate and a good price for the job which was done in time and some of the best workers I have had the pleasure to speak to and would definitely use again

The deck that they built is great. It exceeds my expectations. They showed up exactly when they said they would. I was surprised how quickly it got done and they left my yard without any debris. I'm very pleased.

I hired JSD properties LLC (Jeff Dunn) to remodel my kitchen and living rooms. Removing walls and putting loading beams to support the weight of the house. No mortgage company was involved. Signed contract; and it was my first experience. He did not mention his plan in detail in contract. But as per our contract he has to apply for township permit before starting work. He rushed me to start without permit. Kept asking him about permit, he told me he is working on it. Later I knew he intended to finish the job without permit. I asked him to put everything on hold till get the permit. Apparently two loading beams have to be redone after getting blue print from engineer and architect(was not following building codes my second floor was bouncy. He is not organized and that cost me time about, 5 months and a week for him to finish. I had no kitchen all this time. Family of five eating fast food which cost me a lot of money. Jeff charged me thousands of dollars to level the floor by replacing the sub-floor and not leveled yet. Jeff verbally said he will do a lot of things and promises but many of these promises vanished because was not documented. He replaced the flooring color without getting my approval. He replaced bathroom flooring and tiles without getting my approval. He replaced the wall cabinet size from 36" in kitchen diagram to 30" without getting my approval. Kitchen plan was 36" wall cabinet and never been told or agreed on 30" cabinet. I got surprised about the size on the day of installation. Cabinet been sitting in the floor, being moved from place to place along the way of construction and he never mentioned the cabinets are 30". It is never been written any where. The kitchen plan is 36". I paid him a lot of money at the beginning without getting any work on the ground except ripping the floor and sub floor of the whole house first floor. the guy he hired put fake wires as kitchen cabinet outlets. My family safety would have been jeopardized if I was not on top of his work. Inspecting what they did every night when I come from work. He wanted me to pay him all the balance before he finished or he would call the people off.

Very professional and courteous. They did a great job for us.

This whole job was a nightmare. A job which was to be take 2 to 3 weeks is not complete in 4 months.

Jeff and Ron where very polite and professional. They treat you like you are part of their family. It's always nice when I have them over to do work. They finish the work quickly without sacrificing the quality. I would recommend them to everyone. I am so ecstatic with them and the work they provided. If I could give them a 10 I would! I'm so happy I found them to do the work that I needed done.

Jeff Dunn was amazing to work with during the entire process. He would be there every day to ensure the project come to completion as well as to the highest perfection. I would and have recommended his services to others.

After being in my home since 1985 I’ve had contact with meany home builders. JSD Properties is far better and there expertise and timing was perfect. My wife now have a beautiful porch rapping to the back with a beautiful deck. I’m on the corner of my street everyone in my neighborhood are also impressed with this porch and deck . The price was fair and the work was above average. Communication went well through the process.

Confirm all details discussed prior to starting work. Work done was excellent and nursery came out fantastic. Took a little longer to complete than expected, but no issues with the work done.
