J and S has done a number of jobs for us, they are always on time, go right to work, do quality work, clean up and are reasonable in their pricing.

I had J+S change out lights, add dimmers/panel/outlets. It was a great experience all around.

I highly recommend J & S Electric! We had a ceiling light go out. I called J & Electric. Sara politely scheduled our service appointment. I thought it was the wall dimmer switch that needed to be replaced, but Jose quickly found the problem; there was a short circuit in the ceiling light. Jose went to the store and got two high quality LED ceiling light fixtures to replace the damaged fixture and another matching fixture, as I requested. He did an excellent job replacing the ceiling light fixtures and replacing the old wall dimmer switch with a modern wall dimmer switch. We are very happy with our new ceiling lights and our new wall dimmer switch. J & Electric provided exactly what we needed, with great professionalism and courtesy. I called J & S Electric to replace a defunct switch for our garbage disposal as well as to fix several plugs that were coming out of the wall. Jose came the next day at the scheduled time; Sara called to tell us exactly when he would arrive. Jose was a "problem-solver". Our house was built over 30 years ago, and the switches and plugs are deteriorating. The defunct bathroom plug is now a GFI, properly installed. Jose wore shoe covers whenever he was in the house...and also placed a mat at our front door. As another reviewer stated, "Jose's service was 5 star from start to finish."

We had lost power to 4 of our receptacles and Jose and Jesse came out when scheduled and figured out and repaired our issue in a short amount of time. Also answered our questions and concerns about what happened and why. Since we have an older house, I'm sure we will be needing their services again, just hope it's a planned project next time! Will definitely be calling them again!

J & S has amazing attention to detail. They installed inside and outside fixtures, ran wire for the indoor fixtures, installed a new sensor so our outdoor light and installed our new over-the-oven microwave. They took their time and then did a walk through with us to make sure we were happy with the work. They stayed in consistent communication with us. We knew exactly what time they were scheduled to show up, of which they showed 5 mins early, which was a pleasant surprise. We would not hesitate to recommend J & S to anyone needing work done in their home. They exceeded any expectations we had.

Jose arrived on time and did a great job on time at a competitive rate. I had recessed lighting put in along with new lighting fixtures. I absolutely LOVE the lighting. It looks like a totally new kitchen.

Jose was prompt in returning my request for an estimate, very professional in showing up for our appointment, and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and how to do it. He replaced 14 recessed lights with LED fixtures, some on quite high ceilings, and his work was outstanding. Nice guy, too. I will definitely use this company again and recommend it to friends.

Jose called within 30 minutes of posting my job (the other guy with alot more reviews took 3 days...what's up with that hmmm). First project (replace regular plug w/ GFI) was very knocked out quick for less than $40 and the second project (dead microwave outlet) was thoroughly diagnosed looking from attic to basement. We never found the issue but Jose added a new wire, cleanup up and good as new.

The company representative was prompt and respectful, and all of the work that was done was highly successful. Outstanding company!

Although it took a little while to find the problem, Jose was very thorough and found the problem was in our electrical panel where some wires were not pulled properly originally and came into close contact with one another and the current started arching, shutting down a circuit. My husband indicated Jose checked out everything connected to that wiring to make sure there would be no further issues. My husband and I were very pleased with the fact that he was so thorough and was able to come within about 4 hours from the time I called Home Advisors to locate an electrician. Jose was also the first electrician to return my call. We will definitely call him again!

Jose was a true professional from beginning to end. Not a huge project, but very important to troubleshoot and track down suspected failed/loose connection on circuit, a real fire hazard. Jose had the issue identified inside 20 minutes and repaired/verified connections on all outlets on circuit inside 90 minutes. Quality, timely work for someone getting paid by the hour. He will be my first call for electrical work from now on.
