JS Home Solutions - Unlicensed Contractor

I recently moved into a new home and bought a new deadbolt and handle set for my front door. I ran into an issue when removing the old hardware when I accidentally got the latch got stuck into the door frame. I was unable to retract the latch, so I contacted JS Home Solutions. Gerardo came over the same day and got the stuck latch out. I was also missing some screws to install the new hardware, but Gerardo went over to a nearby hardware store and remedied the situation. He also fixed the screen door in front of my front door whose deadbolt was not lining up correctly with the door frame. Great value for all included services.

Very professional and timely, which was a must since this is a VRBO rental and a guest was staying there at the time. JS replaced water damaged cabinet under kitchen sink. I will definitely use them again.

The owner of JS Home Solutions is named "German." On day one, German came to my home and immediately explained that he could not stay long because he was in the middle of moving. He left after 30 minutes saying he would return the next day. His work was good but he is a little eccentric.

On time and always return calls and/or take calls on the spot. Polite. Knowledgeable, take a personal interest in overall projects with some regard for budgetary concerns. I would have appreciated not having some of my timelines challenged which resulted in a lost day with a contractor doing a simultaneous project that required no other workers at the project while they worked so it cost me $ for added manpower from the other company because I was unable to comply with my plan with them. Easy fix... my fault. I will learn to hold my ground on such things in the future to avoid budget busters. I will continue to employ this company!

They are friendly. When finished, they cleaned up every work site. I now have a good handyman company for future projects.
