These guys are great! They came out for a home warranty claim that I had put in. The home warranty company would not cover the cost of the repairs but Kevin and Blake worked with me to make sure everything was safe. And gave me a great deal to fix it out of warranty. When I just received theyâ re email to ask for a review and I couldnâ t get here fast enough!

I would give them 10 stars if I could; they took an emergency situation and turned it into a learning experience for me, while making my home a safer place to live (and getting the electricity to my well pump working, yay running water!) They did all that in less time than they thought it would take on the hottest day of the year (so far). I said last year I'd hire them again and I did and I will again. Thanks again, Aaron and John!

Jim from J and S was great! He was very informative and helped my grandmother tremendously so she could get her new hot water tank installed . His guys were right on time and the price was very fair which helped my grandmother so much ! Jim stayed in contact with me through out the process and was very professional . They arrived to complete a very specific project with the materials to complete the project. Unfortunately electrical system was that of less than we needed to continue on that scope of work, electricians to solve another problem on the property and they did in a timely and complete fashion. The initial crew that came out for the estimate and 1 day of work were pleasant people and did all of what they could with the materials they brought. There was a special order related to this project and the parts ordered were incorrect. I had been told I would receive a partial refund for these parts and 4 months later that refund still has not been provided.

"This job was canceled. The customer had a relative finishing to the work. The materials referenced for refund were purchased prior to the job cancellation and were special to the job. We were paid and they thanked us many times. No refunds for special orders."

They were prompt and very customer friendly and respectful and I would hire them again. The reason I didn't give a 5 is because they needed to stay extra to fix a mistake on the installation of a switch controlled outside light. They assumed it was motion detector which it was not and charged me for the extra time to adjust for their mistake .

First, I am reluctant to hire outside contactors do to work for me because I have faith in my own set of skills. I am very handy and competent when dealing with electrical equipment. This time however it was my home that was having problems. I had the power company out and they said it was inside my home. I tried several things I know to identify the problem ( suspected lifted neutral). Reached out on home adviser for J&S to come to my home to help me. They sent out Jay. This kid was sharp and HOST ( honest, open sincere and truthful). Rare traits in young folks these days. He worked with me, listened to what I had already done and then he went to work> 30 minutes later he found the fault a neutral issue OUTSIDE the house. He made a call to the power company 2 hours later they were on site ran a new neutral line and the problem was solved. Great guy you folks at J& L have in Jay.

The 2 man crew of Will and "not Mike" Derrick, took down some really old dated Track Lighting and hung a new Chandelier and Pendant Lighting in our Kitchen/ Dining Room. These 2 guys are machines! Showed up when they said they would, worked without even a break and were done in a few hours! Cleaned up to my satisfaction too. Can't go wrong

We thought that the cost was too high for what we received. Much of the hours spent did not result in any of the service desired but we were charge for between four and five hours. What we actually received should have been less than two hours.

"When we spoke to David to set up the job we were misled by the description he had given. It was explained it was a drop ceiling . that was not the case. It in fact was a tile ceiling that was attached directly to the floor joist in a basement. The ceiling crew, before we arrived, left the tile where the electrical boxes and fixtures were out for us to install and cut out the box opening. It was more difficult that David explained or understands.No one wants to pay more in the end the service and the work completed were impeccable at very fair price. At the time of service they didn't even have the fixtures they wanted to install we offered to return at no charge but David declined. Thanks for viewing."

Did a great job. Will and Darrel had to run electrical lines from the attic to install ceiling fans. Also, did a review of the electrical panel as I've had some outages from using an electric fireplace. Job was cleaned up nicely too.
