In July 2018 we signed a contract with Joe Tomich to tear down our old deck and build a new one. I wrote a check for $4,516 (half the final amount) with $4,500 due upon completion of the job. NO WORK WAS STARTED, NO MATERIALS WERE DELIVERED, COMMUNICATION BROKE DOWN, AND NO MONEY WAS RETURNED. Joe was great at making promises. I believed that Home Advisor had vetted contractors recommended, as it advertises on TV. NOT IN THIS CASE.
