Jonathan Teran should be investigated. He took my money as a down payment 5K advance and he came two days but No work done. And disappeared . Will not answer calls and some messages. Beware of this person! I given a complaint in Hawthoron wood police station. His car number - DT-89059. He is cheater and he did not returned the money so far as of today 11/03/2023

They took my money from the deposit and they never responded.

Lied to us, took our money and never returned. He then finally responded after multiple phone calls promising to work it out and finish the job, they did not came and now they are ignoring us again.

Once they get paid, they disappear. 

Jonathan Teran-Torres is Stealing peoples hard earning money. He had a warrants for fraud through McHenry & Grayslake County. His vehicle is Hyundai Elantra se Silver plate number CK76869.

He is a very hard man to get hold of, he does not answer the calls. The work did not get completed as promised.

Took half of my deposit and stopped answering phone calls and text messages. I found a different number to call his cell. He answered and hung up. Be aware of this fraudulent business. I also found Jonathan on scam sites with similar complaints. I am filing my report soon and will bring this guy to court!

This dude Jt is a scam he comes to do half the work and gets over half the money then he is a ghost he do not answer the phone or nothing please no one should use him and home advisor should be held accountable for this because after all these bad reviews you all are still letting him do this to people on you all site?

Jonathan built us an entire new deck. Him and his team did fantastic work and we really love how it turned out. Jonathan was able to turn my ideas that were on paper into reality so I really appreciate that we got exactly what we envisioned. Great work for the price. The only hiccup was some delays in the project due to missed days of work, but it was still completed in a reasonable amount of time.

Jonathan work was extremely amazing, and I'm going to hire him for other projects. I just moved into a new home and his work was fantastic. I informed him that he didn't need to paint behind the fridge, he commented, that he was hired to a job and he's going to it right. I couldn't argue with that.

The quality of work for the doors he replaced was fine. However, he has not completed the remaining portion of the project and either states he is going to show up and doesn't or just does not respond to calls. I have numerous neighbors that are looking for a good handyman. I though I had one after the first job he did for me. However, after this latest work I cannot recommend him

At first, JT was communicative. He came and assessed the projects, then gave us two quotes, depending upon how we wanted the job accomplished. He missed his first appointment but did call and reschedule. He showed up at the new appointment time and began the work. We had asked him for pictures of his progress since we are selling our home and he was addressing concerns from the new buyers. They needed to see the pictures. We heard and saw him working and, at first, he communicated well with us. However, after 3 hours, we noticed his truck was gone. He left a broom in the driveway which we assumed was his way of saying he would be back. He never came back that day. I reached out to him twice via texting, but have had no response. JT DID NOT finish the work and the work he did, did not meet the requirements we asked of him and that he said he would do. Sadly, this man is not dependable and you should not hire him. We prepaid for half of the project and hope to be able to get the money back. Do not hire and if you do hire, do not prepay. You will be sorry.

He completed a bathroom renovation project for us and now is working on our basement.
