In July 2023 I hired JT Plumbing to replace 80â of sewer line at my home. 6 days after work began, the City of Fort Collins issued a stop work order for JT Plumbingâ s failure to pull permits. The same day that the stop work order was issued, an OSHA inspector and members of the Poudre Fire Authority Collapse Rescue Unit visited my home because of several anonymous complaints about work-site safety. They pointed out several violations to me, including lack of shoring and improper location of spoil piles. . I fired JT Plumbing and hired another company to finish the work. Because of the unsafe condition of the trench, this company had to completely backfill the trench and begin from scratch. Even though I fired them because of their incompetence, JT Plumbing subsequently sent me an invoice for $25,000. I refused to pay. JT Plumbing created potentially lethal working conditions in my property, and they damaged 10â of concrete walkway, and destroyed my landscaping and my irrigation system. They have made no offer of compensation for this. Do not hire JT Plumbing. I also notice that their common response to bad reviews is â we have no record of you as a customer.â Trust me, I was a customer.

I called them because my sink was clogged; charged me $400 and were not able to get it done-back up was called- the back up is just this guy coming to pressure the client to pay more money. They said they would try plan B for another $1,000. I had to pay the $400 and call another plumber who got he job done in minutes. I reported them to the Business Consumer Alliance and they got no response from JT Plumbing. I do not recommend this company.

Beware. Tried to take advantage of a disabled housebound veteran who had mainline issues. I live in a huge house with my wife and 4 kids at home. After 3 times of having sewage back up a plumber apprentice (unsupervised) gave a 35-40k cost after saying that he was a master plumber and supervisor. Used a scare tactic to say if a temporary fix was made if it breaks again could cost upwards of 80k. Owner came out and said they could get fixed as a temp basis for about 15k and that we had orangeburg pipes that caused the issue. Since I have many health issues and need running water, my family and I went to stay at a hotel for 13 days while we tried to figure out how to come up with the money to repair it. The company did say I could finance the repair. My homeowners insurance would cover $10k of it, but any "living expenses would deduct from the repair amount. We reached out to Veterans Groups and one of them said they needed 2 other estimates before they could help and the 2nd company said the issue was a root had caused part of the mainline to collapse and they could repair it for $9,964 and that there were no orangeburg pipes anywhere within the system. The 3rd company concurred with the 2nd, but was at $14k. We were finally able to get it fixed with the 2nd company and all but $500 (deductible) was covered. I paid JT Heating and air $985 for the initial clean outs (which didn't fix the issue), and then spend an additional almost $2.5k living at a hotel, using a laundromat, and having to eat out based on the attempted scam that was tried to be run. Luckily the Veteran group I talked to had me get the other estimates. After the fact I looked up the plumbers license and saw the "master plumber" supervisor just got a Plumbers Apprentice License in March 2023 according to Colorado's Licensing website. According to Colorado law, Plumber apprentices are supposed to be supervised onsite and not be sent alone. Definitely a learning opportunity and I wont fall for it again. Some advice, when the plumber gets here ask to see their license credentials, make sure to get a 2nd, or 3rd opinion, and take time to think despite the emergency. I contacted the company by email a week ago laying things out and asking for them to contact me via email for some kind of resolution. I have not heard back from them so I filed a complaint with the Plumber's License Board, Attorney General, BBB, yelp, Google, and will be hiring an attorney to go after them for what's allowable under Deceptive trade practice laws.

The JT guys showed up on Thursday to check out my situation and did a search for a replacement water heater. Because of the Covid impact on the supply line, they made numerous phone calls for a replacement. JT found a replacement water heater in Wyoming and drove up there ( I'm located in Colorado) to pick it up and installed it the same day (Friday). Amazing customer service! Highly Recommended!

Outrageous price to snake a drain. Charged over three times what the local competition charges. For one clogged drain they had to come out four separate times. The billing invoice did not match the work that was done. The technicians were friendly and courteous but the price was outrageous for the services completed. I would not recommend this company.

After coming to see the project, it was then a week before I called them back. They were having trouble with the place we purchased the last water heater as it was still under warranty. After a few more calls they were here and did the job in two days.

J. T. was the first to respond when I posted the job. He was on site on time and gave me a quote that beat the other bidders. Job was done on time, no fuss.

I had a hot water heater break on a Sunday. He took the call on Sunday and did the repair on Monday

My water heater went down and was flooding basement. Made few calls to other companies and they would not come to take a look to fix problem. They wanted to schedule couple weeks later, or never called back after talking to their plumbers. J.T Plumbing was at my house with couple hours. They accepted the job with in minutes on home advisor. It was later in the day. They stayed late with no complaints. Their price was competitive. Didn’t charge an emergency fee or nothing. They installed new water heater and also made it so basement won’t flood when water heater fails again in future. They will be the only company I call for now on. No one else took the offer or seemed interested at all. All the company’s in greeley wouldn’t even answer their phones. Call JT, they will always take the job same day or very next morning. Fair pricing, and know what they are doing.

Justin was on time and his work was excellent.

Justin's a busy guy, so you might not get him right away. Be patient. He's worth waiting for.

The tenant at our rental house called to notify us that the main sewer line was not draining well. I contacted a few different plumbing services companies and then located J.T. Plumbing Services on HomeAdvisor. Justin contacted me immediately and quickly resolved the problem at a cost that was well below the quotes I received from other companies. I will definitely use his services again and recommend him to others.

Work was done, with good effort , good quality. I won't hesitate to have the guys back for more fun.
