They were professional, did a great job and cleaned up every single leaf afterward! After getting a few quotes, they were very reasonable and worth every penny. I will definitely hire them again!

Veronica came to give an estimate right away, and the quote was fair and reasonable. They handled all the paperwork with the City of Oakland, and started work the next day. The huge oak tree they trimmed was done quickly, and their crew cleaned up the area nicely!

We called for an estimate. They were out the same day for the estimate and back the next day to remove the 20+ foot tree from our backyard and trimmed other trees. Everything was done and cleaned up in one day. Very professional and a pleasure to do business with.

Don't be afraid to make a counter offer to the estimate.

Painless tree removal. I had them remove 4 15 to 20 foot palm trees in the front of my house. I got a quote one day and the next day my tree's were gone. No sign that they had been there before except the damaged (by the trees) concrete. They removed them while I was at work and when i got home not a trace of the trees were there.

Jose came to give me an estimate a couple of weeks ago and because we were leaving for a week's trip, he worked with me for a date that would work with us and our neighbor (who's redwood tree was involved). On the assigned date, his crew came 15 minutes early and they had me describe the job again to them. They explained what they would advise trimming and shaping the fruit trees and went all around the yard pointing out what he would advise and together we came up with the plan for the 10-15 trees involved. They set to work immediately, sweeping and cleaning as they worked, dragging all the branches to the front sidewalk, even though they worked through a drizzle. They brought back the truck that had the wood chipper and everything was cleaned up wonderfully. Our neighbor even commented that his side of the yard was cleaner where they cut. All in all, a super job and I would not hesitate to recommend JTS to anyone who wants a good, efficient, professional and reasonable tree service!

Tree trimming went well. Clean up was something else. Promised sweeping of porch overhang (tree debris) ignored. I called JTS when I noticed the piles of fallen debris and was told that they would be out to finish cleaning. That was a week ago. Looks like its now my job. ~alan

Great work and a very fair price.

Very fast and by far the best value of the services I contacted. Only negative is communication wasn't great. I am really big on companies communicating throughout the process and I had to be the one tracking them down after the initial estimate to get them to come out. It was almost like they didn't care if they got the job or not. That being said, once they were out here they were fast and professional.

Just the best! Courteous, prompt, efficient, talented, a pleasure to work with and a good business model for other companies.

Hands down the best tree service company out there. We had a 70-year-old Stone Pine in our backyard and it was tricky because of where it was located and also due to the electrical wire passing through it.
