I had them replace sliding doors and windows. It took a long time to complete as they measured the windows wrong the first time and had to reorder. They did a good job on the doors but a very poor job on the windows. The casings did not line up with the corner of the windows and the corner of the casings had huge gaps. They put a hole in my siding. I made them come back to fix things and they still did a very poor job. I gave up. I don't think they are even capable of doing it right.

Their work is shoddy. They lie to your face, then get mad when you call them out on their sub-standard work. I told Jason (the owner) that the decking material and railing for our deck were wrong. I asked why, in the 3 weeks it sat in my front yard, no one bothered to check to see if it was correct. His answer stunned me. "Why didn't YOU double-check?" ...um, because I hired you so I wouldn't have to do it. Their framers are garbage. My deck has more waves than a beach. They won't fix it. When the insurance adjuster came out to inspect the finished work, J-Tech submitted a bill for a completed job, according to the adjuster. The job wasn't even half completed. He was not happy. Now, this is just my opinion, I am not a lawyer or insurance professional, but that sounds a lot like attempted insurance fraud. Again, just my opinion. It would be difficult to over state how much I hope you find someone else for your construction project.

The installers were courteous and great to work with. We had over 30 windows installed, which obviously took some time. It was obvious towards the end that they were getting pressure from the top to get done. There were some issues with our new patio door that did not get completed correctly. The installers did not come back. We waited on payment hoping they would come back and fix the issues. I was getting calls and texts to send payment. I finally gave in, trusting the promise that someone was still coming to complete the door install. It's been months and no one came back and they won't respond to me now. Don't pay until the job is done! Or find a more trustworthy company.

Good hiring and training practices: The crew consisted of three clean-cut young men who were on time, polite and respectful of my property. They worked efficiently, quietly and did not make a mess. It was a smooth process from start to finish.

Do not use this business if you expect quality work in a timely manner. We should have known what the end result was going to be, after the first time we were told they had come and measured the door from the outside.....there is no access to the door from the yard except over a fence. Then they told us they had us mixed up with someone else. Then they finally sent someone, and we told them they would need to reframe the opening for the new door. We were led to believe that was no problem. After installation, when the sun reached high enough, we discovered six inch spans of daylight showing on the top right corner of the door! And then we saw daylight all down the right side, the side the knob is on. There was a half inch gap between the door and the jamb. This was unacceptable. We contacted them, and they sent the same two installers, who cut two small strips of stick-on material and put them where the six inch gaps were, fiddled with the weatherstripping and the threshold, making the problem actually worse, and told us they had done all they were going to do. It appears as though the door was hung crooked, with the right side lower on the bottom, causing the gap on the top, and that the opening was too big for the width of the door, causing the gap which barely allows the door latch to engage. And now, the sweep, which was glued onto the bottom of the door, has started to come off, because of the way the door drags. My husband is a disabled veteran, we are in our 70's, and our grandkids are very upset at the treatment we have received from this company. All we want is a door to keep out the cold and the insects. Now we are forced to fix it ourselves, after paying nearly $1500.
