Write a ReviewMy husband and I hired JWB Home to redo our patio. Not only did we get a patio, we got a complete outdoor oasis and living space. Anon's attention to detail and design of not only the patio area but landscaping and lighting far exceeded our vision for what our new patio/backyard would look like. They also completed our project way ahead of schedule. We absolutely love our patio and it has been a complete life changer because we want to just be outside. Anon and his entire crew are extremely professional and just great to work with. Thank you for our new outdoor living space. You can't go wrong if you hire JWB Home.
JAB did it all! We had a very complex project to address our water drainage and soil erosion issues. They repaired the foundation cracks, installed a French drain, and drain pipes for the down spouts, regarded the backyard, built a boulder retaining wall, and installed a magnificent stone patio. Anon quickly answered all our questions and addressed our concerns. Jose and the crew were also very professional. We are looking forward to the final phase when all the landscaping is planted in Spring.
Very professional and finished the project on time. I work from home and the crew was very respectful to keep the noise to a minimum since I am on the phone a lot. Gave me the heads up when there was going to be a lot of noise (no control over that). Will be using them again to do my patio project next summer.
Thank you Patrick! It was a pleasure working with you on that bathroom. We look forward to installing that patio soon. Anon & JWB Crew ;)
Anon is prompt and responsive. The quality of work is very high and, if problems arise, they are fixed the right way. Thank you for the awesome master bath.
Thanks Jerry! It was so much fun working with you and your family on your master bathroom. It looks amazing! We hope you enjoy it for many years to come. Anon ;)
Upon my first meeting with JWB, I knew that they were the right company for the job. Anon and his team has taken a newly purchased home with multiple issues and come up with not only solutions, but a cost effective ones. The fact that it always turns out beautifully is just the icing on the cake. They know what they are talking about and it would be a mistake to go anywhere else.
Thanks for the kind words Jaime!
It was a joy working with Anon and his crew! Drainage was our primary project and to beautify our backyard. Both were done to our satisfaction and with no issues....and were done beautifully! We will be contacting them when it comes time to redo our front yard landscaping. Responsive, responsible, and very creative. Thank you again for making our yard something truly beautiful not to mention a dry garage!
You guys are so sweet and kind. Thanks for allowing us to create your back yard vacation spot. We?re very happy to know that you are safe and dry! Look forward to seeing you soon. Anon and Jose ;)
We engaged with JWB this past Spring to do a landscape grade to improve drainage in our back yard and to prepare and lay seed, at a cost of over $8,000. While the drainage goal was mostly achieved, the contour of the yard was irregular. The cement **caps** for our septic system were clearly exposed above the grade. By mid-summer, our new **lawn** which we had kept well-watered, was primarily weeds. JWB took no responsibility, but did offer a solution, at our expense. We have since regraded and reseeded with another contractor at a cost of over $2400. The yard now has a much nicer and regular grade flush with our septic caps, and the new seed is secured by a well laid mesh/straw mat. While weather and other conditions will impact the success of a project like ours, we were very disappointed that JWB did not take a more customer-friendly approach in standing behind their work. As a result, our $8400 budgeted project ended up costing almost $11,000.
We will strive to better communicate our scope of work in both written and verbal communication to ensure better understanding to our clients. We try to educate our clients as much as we can with up to 30 min "in the field" training on how to appropriately grow and care for grass seed. Since this review We have created a useful Hand Out on topics such as When to water, How to water, How much to water. Also some "Do's and Don't" Such as Don't walk on seed, Don't water during hot times of day. That was a very large project with over 8 days of work with limited access due to wet weather in spring. Understandably the seed was challenging to grow with the limited available time and water during the most hot and windy months of the year. We apologize for not responding in less than 48 Hours for a service call and would have loved to be given the opportunity to top dress this area, especially in the best cool growing time of the year when it's ideal seed growing weather. Thank you for your feedback, we shall continue to get better at what we do each day. JWB Outdoor Solutions
Just finished final grading looks Great, Waiting for heavy rain for final test.
Beware of this man does not know how to do waterproofing. His prices are crazy, he is a real talker.
I would say spending an hour with a customer educating them discussing what the best options are and showing what quality work is his time well invested in a quality product or solution. So yes, passionately I love to share information and am know to sketch on napkins, etc., I mean it's the main reason we at JWB do what we do. Point of fact here... we were not hired to waterproof a basement, we were asked to move water from the exterior of foundation with 5 sump pumps and 4 downspouts in a flood zone, YIKES. Doable for sure though. "Crazy Prices"...Well no need to say more, expect big messes requires big fixes...each to there own.
