J.W.B. Tree and Landscape

If anyone needs tree work or landscaping, I highly recommend JWB trees. The owner, Mr. Jerry Brown, has done tree work for me on many separate occasions. He keeps my two Crepe Myrtle’s trimmed. Took down two large trees I was concerned about and cleaned up a third large tree that fell due to wind. He lives in our neighborhood (Burgundy Farm) and does an amazing job. He is reasonably priced and gets the job done right. I credit him with saving my front yard Crepe Myrtle after it split in two after being overwhelmed by snow a several winters ago. Now I make sure to have Jerry trim them every other year. I have no relationship to this business but want him recognized for his honesty and hard work.

JWB came on time with all the equipment needed for the job & a full crew. Jerry, the owner, supervised the entire operation. They were professional, completed the project quickly & hauled away the debris. The crew was very knowledgeable about pruning trees correctly, an important point of note for me. They had to prune my trees away from my power lines which required skill. I would recommend them especially if you value your trees. Susan

Jerry was incredible! His services were incredibly reasonably priced, he maintained excellent communication, and was able to complete the service less than one week after I initially reached out to him. We will definitely be using him again!

I definitely recommend this company. Communication was great! Service was efficient, professional and more importantly - very clean! The price was fair and very competitive.

Did the job on timely manner, very neat and clean, clean up all the area. Very reliable and affordable company.

Very good and easy to work with.

Very easy process and professional...1.2.3 done ..thank you . M Peppas

They were friendly, worked diligently even in the rain.

JWB was an absolute pleasure to work with. I reached out to several contractors for the same tree removal job. Jerry came in at the lowest price by a good margin. Further, the work he and his team did was extremely timely and thorough. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who's looking for tree services in the NoVa area.

One worker worked through a very hot day with intense sunshine; quite an accomplishment. There was just too much to do on such an oppressive day. The overall price was very reasonable for the work.

Jerry was very easy to work with, as he was easy to reach and was very reliable. He gave me an estimate that was far lower than the other companies who came out to the house. He had a crew at the house in under a week, and other than the cut trees, there was no evidence anyone had been there, because the yard was left clean. Highly recommend this business.

Scheduling was an issue.

Extremely professional company. I was contacted immediately regarding my online inquire for lawn work. The owner is very accommodating. My request was very short notice, and the owner's work schedule for pretty tight. Even with these two challenges, the owner shifted his schedule around to fit me in on the day that I needed the work done. What great customer service, not many in his line of work would have done this. I definitely recommend him for any lawn service others may have, as well as would hire him again!

Affordable clean up with decent results.

Great customer service and work.

JWB Tree and Landscape did a great job. Jerry knew that I was in a hurry to have the job done so he came right away and didn't leave until he was sure I was happy with the finished project. I would definitely use his company again.

Jerry completed the job perfectly on extremely short notice due to an impending appraisal of my home. In addition to landscaping (dirt, sand, mulch and wood border), he corrected my grading problem and solved the drainage issue as well. He was professional, thorough and the job was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend his company to anyone.

Jerry was amazing. He was incredibly friendly, prompt, and was very fun to work with. I highly recommend him.

I hired them just a few days before the 30 inches of snow that hit the DMV area but I am extremely disappointed because they charged me close to three times more than three other contractors that actually had to cover more area than JWB Tree and Landscape. I honestly feel that they took advantage of me and are using the heavier snow fall as an excuse to say they spent more time than they actually did. They charged me for 7 hours and other companies charged for 4 hours. To have such good reviews, why would a company jeopardize that by taking advantage of a situation and overcharging? Companies made substantially more money just from the increase in work/jobs available, why overcharge for the sake of getting over on someone? I am sure I am not the only business they overcharged. Very disappointed in their integrity.

grt job

I hired the company to do more work in the future

Would use company again. Job was great!

You get what you pay for. By far the lowest quote of four received. However, the quality of work was poor and unprofessional. I think this was the tree removal team as they appeared to have no idea about neat, clean, thorough or professional-level yard work. Agreed on a price before job started and when the final bill was submitted, it was inflated by almost 30%. Since we had an unamended contract, we paid only the previously agreed upon price. If you contract with this company, make sure job detail is in writing before hand and that any increases be agreed to in writing.
