We are happy with the work they have done, but had to call a few times to see when they would actually be out to do the work (the date was pushed back a few times due to their other projects and/or weather). Also, I would recommend making sure your quote is specific in detailing the areas to be covered in the work. We assumed certain areas were covered in the quote but they were not completed. After speaking with Jim, he has agreed to complete those areas as well (though we are not sure when this will actually be done).

Jim and Thomas were great. They were prompt and reasonable with their estimate, and arrived when they said they would. The workmanship was surperb. Jim is an excellant craftsman and takes pride in his work. He was dilligent in job site clean up. When they were done, you could not even tell they had been there!

Jim was prompt to respond and also the only one of two that followed up after he sent the proposal. He gave me a fair pirice, offered suggestions on how to layout my patio and did an excellent job. It took a little longer than planned but he kept in touch. Jim is honest, and works to make the homeowner happy. I would use him again.

Lehman Masonry did an excellent job on the retaining wall. They were prompt, kept me informed on progress, charged a fair price, and were pleasant to deal with. I recommend them very highly.

Jim (mason and business owner) and his colleague Tomas (carpenter) were, by far, the most professional contractors among the four that we had provide a quote for rebuilding our stucco chimney. We were extremely satisfied with their work and exceptional professionalism (not to mention technical skill) during their time working on the job. Jim also brought two more guys to help with excavation and other prep work -- they were similarly very hard-working and diligent. Lastly, Jim's pricing was very competitive, even despite unforseen issues (water damage and mold on the underlying OSB). We cannot recommend J.W. Lehman Masonry highly enough!

Jim was very timely, professional, energetic, and honest. He finished our retaining wall before his projected finish date and the enclosure looks and was made better than I envisioned.
