I contacted JWS Contractors because of their good reviews. My opinion changed dramatically in November 2025 when Jack Siegal called me and said he could fit my $7800 foundation repair project in before a large project in Rocky River. I live in Westlake Ohio and had sent Jack a deposit in September for work to be done in Oct. My JWS contract says " we agree to repair, stabilize and underpin the foundation under the garage area on the north wall." "We will attempt to raise the foundation area that has settled....we must remove some wood trim pieces that was hiding the gap from the brick and wood structure..." I paid JWS $7800. The raising was never attempted. His crew dug a trench and poured cement into it. Westlake required an inspection. I asked the foreman when the inspection would be done. He said it was not needed and left with the crew. Later Westlake said It was required. JWS was very dishonest. People please question the credibility of their "good" reviews.

Did a good job

Jack and his crew did an outstanding job on my basement water proofing project. It was a difficult job in a tight space. The did the work as contracted, for a reasonable price and in a timely manner despite the lousy weather.

Jack and his team did thorough job. Went over budget because of foundation problems with a 90 year old house needing fixed.

Superlative contractor & crew! Understandable contract, reasonable price, excellent service/work. Even washed dirt off our 100 ft driveway @ end of job!

Would hire this company again if needed. Work was completed in a timely fashion and clean up was appropriate.
