If I could give a 0 I would. I would explain the issues and lack of service but reviews receive a sarcastic response....so I will choose to save my energy. But I wish I read the 1 stars before I engaged them. I would recommend another provider.

Poor customer service. Their responses are highly unprofessional. They did not honor their contract. I do not recommend. I would not trust them to do any work in my home.

We used Jack Frost for several years until recently. We had good experience with Tyler in the past. They installed a thermoflow indirect water tank for us that rusted out (top and bottom) and flooded our basement after only 4 years. My receipt says lifetime warranty on the tank and 5 years parts and labor. They refused to honor the labor warranty and said the tank could only be replaced under warranty with the exact same model from Thermaflow which had no ETA for arrival. Meanwhile, while we were without hot water, they blamed our water despite having a water softener and our previous tank lasted 17 years. I offered to pay for service and labor if they discounted an alternate tank option for us and they declined and refused to stand behind their or manufacturers warranty. This just isn't a good way to treat customers and we cannot recommend them.

Jack Frost is incompetent and dishonest. We paid JF to do our nat gas conversion almost a year ago. They have been in to fix problems associated with the install at least three times since. The tech had to call someone on the phone each time to walk them through what they did wrong on the install to fix the issue. 1st- We had constant heat, the house got up to 90 degrees, they didn't know they had to install something on the zone to turn the recirculator off once the house hits temp. 2nd time - our furnace shuts down because of venting issues during a wind storm. This is probably when they redirected the vent pointing it at our meter causing water to drip into our electric panel. Once again there was a part they didn't know they needed to install to prevent the problem from happening. 3rd time - discover water in my electric panel after hearing a sizzling sound coming from the panel. An electrician finds the vent pointing straight at the meter causing condensation to drop down the main line from the meter. Dishonest tech claims that steam is not a by product of combustion so therefore couldn't be the issue. Receptionist on the phone is the dirtiest nastiest woman I have ever had to deal with takes personal shots at me and wife while flat out lying saying that it was ice wicking from our gutters, but our electric conduit is several inches above the gutter making ice wicking not possible. Go figure, within 2 hours of having the vent redirected, water is no longer dripping in to my electric panel. 4th time - Our hot water stops working. Scheduled a 9:00 am Saturday apt with them this past weekend and they don't show. My wife calls them to see what's up and they say they won't come out during the weekend and give us a a time frame which is virtually impossible for us to accommodate because we work like everyone else. I do not want dishonest people walking around my house when we are not home. These people have no integrity, the tech whom I believe is the owners son is completely incompetent and dishonest and the receptionist clearly has no conscience. I don't recommend getting involved with these people, they will take your money and then become an absolute nightmare to deal with because the tech is incompetent and the business owners themselves have no integrity. Save yourself the time, money and trouble and pass them over for your next HVAC job.

This company Jack Frost does what I would called haphazard faulty work. Their work has caused two floods in our house within a four year period and now we find ourselves without air conditioning in the hottest summer on record in New Jersey. Jack Frost is now failing to honor their contract and rather wants us to pay a large service visit rather than come and correct the situation.

Always on time and they stand behind all their work

At first, they charged a high price to fix my furnace, which I willingly paid as we had intermittent heat and were WFH due to COVID 19. I was ensured the repair would resolve the issue. One month later, no heat, and was told that I need a new furnace and replacing two complete HVAC systems (furnace, coils, condensers). They would credit repair costs against the new installation. After getting 2 other estimates for two complete HVAC installations, Jack Frost was still 1/3 higher after the repair credit for similar equipment. Clearly I did not contract with Jack Frost and requested a total refund on the amount paid for the repair service. They flat out refused and told me that they would see me in court if that is what they need to do. I would not recommend this company. They are expensive and in my opinion not honorable. There are many excellent HVAC companies out there to choose from. Moreso, in these trying times of economic uncertainty it is imperative that you choose wisely and make sure you are treated fairly.

Not bad

Ripoffs make their own prices without breaking it up for you. Fixing something that might not even need it to be fixed. Just for them to make the money. Tyler has an attitude. Not profesional.

Amazing service the the service technician was very patient respectful and taught me my new system from end to end. Dispatch wad very polite and accomodating with my hectic schedule.

I hired them to look at my furnace. They told me I needed new valves. The cost was to much. I only paid for a service call and then hired another company there was nothing wrong with my valves. My furnace works and valves were not replaced. They also told me my house could catch on fire. Not a good experience they also cut or undid wires they had no business touching as I only hired them to look and tell me what I needed

Customer service was excellent, I was constantly updated. Price was fair and the tech did a very good and clean job. Also they gave an appointment for a few days later whereas some others were available only 2 months later

The technician showed up on time and contacted us first on the day of the appointment to let us know when he would arrive. He was professional courteous and knowledgeable. He finished the service in 20 minutes. I would recommend Jack Frost to anyone needing service in the HVAC space.

He did a gooid job!

Needed our old central A/C unit + coil replaced. Tom and Tyler from Jack Frost came out gave us a reasonable price. They scheduled work for following day. They arrived on time explained what would be done and answered all questions. They did a great installing new unit had us up and running within 3 hours. Cleaned up all debris and made sure everything was working properly before they left. Will be using them for any future heating or air conditioning work at home.
