Do not hire. Solomon was our handyman for a couple of years was great at that. . So we decided to go with him when he started the remodel company. But it was a horrible experience. I am actually hurt we were treated so poorly by someone we trusted. It took a bathroom remodel 6 months (schedule says 6 weeks) to get to 90%. (Some items just never finished). He did not order supplies in time or get subs lined up. . Some parts of project- like the floor tile-are well done. But there is very poor tile work in shower. Him and assistant do not seem to understand basic math. Now trying to charge us late fees on a final payment that is inaccurate ( added change order items we paid 100% on to estimate they say we still owe final 10% on) Also trying to charge us late fee on that final invoice that is inaccurate plus there has been no final inspection from the city. Say after we pay them all the money they will schedule that inspection- which is crazy. Other issues with job. But overall worst construction experience we have had.

Do not hire this company, low-quality general laborers, mismanagement of funds, poor organizational skills, never around to manage projects, and worse of all does not pay subcontractors. I can not begin to tell my whole story but I will say that I have never had as many issues with a contractor before this one. The tile guy that I brought in with the approval of the contractor, which was the best part of the project, finished September 9th has still not been paid over two months! I paid the contractor in full including his upcharge for a profit before the tile guy started the job. He is also not the only one who still owed payment on this job. when all was finished and I was hesitating to pay the last 4k because of this he sent me a notice to lien before even giving me the final affidavit! My advice looks elsewhere, all his good reviews were from when he was a handyman. The only quality work done except for my tile guy was his plumbing sub and electrician.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR REMODELING SERVICES Where to start with my 0-star rating... could not give 0 stars, so I chose 0.5 stars instead. 1. We were greeted by a team of people (project manager and flooring guy) on 7/29/2022. Whatever happened to those people come 8/1/2022 when the project started, I do not know. I believe Solomon said he was still putting in bids for people to do the work, so those people never came back. 2. Project started on 8/1/2022 and the people that showed up did not know what they were demo-ing. They asked us what to do for the demo. They waited around for about 90 minutes and left and did not come back until the next day. It then took 4.5 days to complete the demo work, which really should have only been about 8 hours. My last kitchen demo took less than 8 hours and it was bigger than this kitchen. 3. The flooring guy I mentioned above was no longer in the picture and we got another crew to lay the new flooring. They were supposed to pour a leveler across the floor to even out the dips and cracks and that was not done. The flooring guys just put extra mortar on each tile that was not level, which is what the original owners of the house did and the tile cracked all over. So we can not wait for this new flooring to eventually crack. The flooring that was laid has high spots and low spots, so when you walk on it and drag your feet, you will stub your toes on the high spots. 4. The cabinet and countertop guys did a pretty good job but left a fairly large opening between the cabinets and countertop that you can see straight through, so that has to be fixed. The funny part is the cabinet/countertop guy said this was probably the last job he was working with Solomon because he is getting made to look bad in front of the customers, with all the uncoordinated crap going on with the projects. 5. The trim people did an OK job with the baseboards and trim, but there is some unfinished work and fixing that is needed after they leave. Not sure if they are going to fix this stuff or not. If they do, great, but whatever at this point. They also did a horrible job on the backsplash and either need to remove it all and re-do it, at our expense I am sure, or do a patch job, which we will probably end up removing any way to re-do it ourselves or with another contractor. 6. The electrician quit on us in the middle of their work and sited that working with Solomon has been quite a cluster and he does not want to look bad in front of the customer either... see a pattern here? 7. Nobody was scheduled to come to the house to do any work from 8/22/2022 through 8/24/2022, no explanation why so that was 3 days of work lost on the kitchen. 8. Nobody was scheduled to come to the house to do any work from 8/29/2022 through 9/1/2022, no explanation why so that was 4 days of work lost on the kitchen. 9. We called Sky Mind to complain about all of this, uploaded pictures of the stuff that is incomplete or needs to be fixed to their scheduling app and we got a visit from Solomon today (the first time in about 2 weeks since he is been to the house), 9/2/2022, that was less than pleasant. Solomon, your customer service skills and how you run your company need work. If someone is pissed off at you because of how poorly you ran this job, it is their right to voice their opinion, free speech is a blessing in this country. 10. When asked if his wife or Solomon himself would consider the work done acceptable for the overall price of $35k+ for the costs, his response was, it is not my kitchen. So that goes to show that giving a crap about his customers satisfaction is non-existent. 11. Now we are stuck with this crappy company and being forced to finish the job with them, or we are liable to pay the full price for work not being done. Fun times. This review will go on Google Reviews and all the Pinell
