Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
Handyman tackled all my projects. Even an extra one he wasn’t expecting. The extra project was a toilet needing a new flapper. He got them all done and gave me a great price for all day service he provided. Thanks very happy customer.

Doors - Repair
NO STARS! I will never hire him again. He's a liar and he seriously overcharges. I told him about our drafty exterior office door and how I was told by another contractor friend whom I trust that the door frame needed to be replaced. But Jack of All Trades guy said it only needed weather stripping, told us he brought some with him, and asked if we wanted him to install it. We said yes but now wish we hadn't. He charged us $60 for 19 feet of weather stripping, the simple sticky-sided kind, that I now know only costs $31 for a 60-foot roll on Amazon. He said it costs him $20 per strip. I now know it doesn't come in strips--it comes in rolls. AND OUR DOOR IS STILL DRAFTY! He also charged us $100 for driving to our house, which is less than a 30 minute a drive for him. All of this is especially terrible behavior given the state of the economy right now with the majority of people dealing financial troubles, and this ******* came in and screwed us over BIG TIME! Don't hire him!

"We are sorry that you feel this way as we guarantee our service. The weather stripping we provided does not come in a roll it is provided in 6 foot sections. The goal was to resolve the issue that cost the least. The weather seal did cost $61.33 and we charged you $60. The rate for a service trip is $140 includes travel time and first hour of work (that $140 covers fuel, all the insurances we carry, a wage to put food on the table and keep the lights on) we charged you $100. That?s to drive to the location that supplies the items you need and then drive to you and hopefully fix and resolve the issue you have. Now if this issue was not resolved then communicate with us that so we can seek another solution. We are here to help, not to screw our customers."

When it came time for the appointment he never notified us he was going to be late. We waited all day for this appointment and never received a text until around 3 pm that he was going to be late. He did offer to come by today. Decided not to have him do the job due to poor communication. We left at 2:45 pm roughly. No sure if he showed up.
