Jacks Stone Masonry

John Jr. will be quick to give you a quote and quick to steal from you. This project included removal of siding a replacement with match grey brick. After weeks of delay due to "fabricating brick", multiple no-shows for days of work, and difficulty getting a hold of anyone from Jacks Stone Masonry, we cancelled the project when we came home one evening to see cement board painted as brick bring placed on our the exterior of our house. His subcontractors, Gio and Matt, were unable to get a hold of John as well. They repeatedly stalled, showed up late, and had excuses as to why the work wasn't being done to what we agreed upon. They told us that the "brick they were fabricating kept breaking" or "couldn't dry in time" so they pivoted to purchasing cement board to paint. In addition to the work not being done, damage was caused to our roof where they screwed in boards through our shingles to "sit" on while they worked. We have cancelled the project and not heard back since.

John, aka; Juan Jr. Arrellano quoted a fence and stonework project, and after receiving half up front ($4850) he never returned or even called. I'm 100% disabled veteran and senior on social security. It took me 2 years to save for the fence and stonework only to be robbed by John Arrellano, Jr. I am filing a police report for theft, and in Texas it's a felony.

If you want someone to abandon the work he started, misquote and continue to ask for more money, is not reliable, and says to trust him but he does not trust you, hire him. Now I need to find someone else to finish the mess he left behind. Contact me for questions. I can provide photos and messages on his lack of customer service and lack of commitment.

Part of the customer service and quality was good initially. They were fast to respond to the request for the bid. A little slow to get the work started. Quickly did most of the work, but has not come back to finish a section that was done sloppily. Still waiting for two weeks for completion

John is professional and the work was done fast. It looks great. The pool rock was cracked and he fixed the wall. Showed up on time and budget. Looking forward to fixing some cracked flower beds soon.

Got a fast quote, quick appointment and good communication from John. The guys came out as schedule and repaired some broken mortar on the house. Very professional and the repairs look great. Would definitely hire again for any mortar repairs.

Fast to respond, quality work, fair price.

Prompt quality work

John, Jr. was fast to respond, easy to work with, very professional and respectful. I recommend him very highly. The work was perfectly done and he cleaned up well too, and provided before and after communication to keep me informed.
