Jackson Insulators, Inc., is a 3rd generation family owned business since 1967. Serving most of the New Hampshire area and Southern Maine, our goal is to make your home more energy efficient by providing energy audits (Blower door and KAZ testing) and the highest quality insulation. Even the most efficient heating and cooling systems are not effective if you have sub-standard insulation. I hired Jackson insulators to add insulation to my attic and also install a vapor barrier under my house which is a small lake cottage-it was a little bit of a tricky job but they were very polite professional and did a nice clean job. They left everything nice and neat and i liked that this was a family buisness with a lot of experience. As for price I can't really comment as i did not compare them to anyone else.

Very knowledgeable about the current offers for building efficiency. He was very courteous and patient with me as I got the home ready for the insulation. When it was time to install, they were very efficient with their time and made little to no mess. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

We had a tricky roof/attic space to insulate on an 100+ year old house. Len and Mike did a phenomenal job through the whole process. They recommended a very efficient insulation method and clearly explained why it was the best insulation/ventilation option for a house this age. The crew was very polite and clean. They even helped me save money through a federal rebate program that knew nothing about! And we saved a lot of money this year on our heating bill, thanks to the excellent job they did. We'll be hiring them again when we renovate other sections of the house.

What attracted me to the company initially was that it was a family company. Everything was done very professionally and I was not talked into something I didn't need. I am VERY please with everything and everyone pitched in in the cleaning up part. I have noticed a significant difference in the temps in each room; thermostats have been turned down and I'm sure I will see a difference in my electric bill. I would call this company again.

This family has been laying insulation for two generations and know their stuff. They were prompt for the initial meeting and for the date of service. They blew in additional fiberglass insulation to increase the attic R-Factor to 60. They were careful about the woodwork, painted walls and cleaned up after the installation. They are thorough and I feel good about the work they did. They were the most reasonably priced contractor. I would hire them again.
