Electrical Wiring or Panel Upgrade
I hired JAG (the owner himself, John, personally provided our service) to troubleshoot an electrical issue in our home. John was very responsive to our questions (he responded immediately and on a Sunday afternoon from an email I left on their website) and he accommodated our schedule in order to provide the service. John arrived promptly at the scheduled time after confirming the evening before and was able to diagnose and fix our initial issue. John even offered time to troubleshoot a secondary issue that he was also able to resolve. He was prompt, courteous, friendly, and professional. And all at a very reasonable cost comparable to all other bids and service providers. I told John we will be sure to keep him in mind for any future issues--and we will!

I hired JAG to do a sub panel install in my home workshop. I was very pleased with their work and later hired them to do a main panel upgrade and a generator hookup install. I got some other bids and those companies all wanted to make things more complicated/expensive than I needed. JAG listened to what I needed and came up with a solution that met my needs and budget. I rated 4.5 for quality (rather than 5) because there were a few minor details like some conduit glue dripped on my retaining wall etc. Nothing that wasn't easy to take care of myself, but would have been good if they cleaned up. Overall very satisfied and will hire/recommend in the future.

I highly recommend Jag Electric. I needed assistance with installing a wired video doorbell and getting it to operate properly with an older 1950 chime box at my home. Both Ryan and John were very professional and did an excellent job getting my doorbell connected. I was impressed that Ryan even took the extra time to help me get the doorbell connected to the app and made sure I was satisfied with the operation before they left. They even offered to come back later in the day if I was having any issues. I spoke with Sam on the phone for the scheduling and follow up. Again, I was very impressed with the level of customer service. I will definitely consider them for any future electrical needs.

Service call on 21 Feb. Jeremy, the young man with Jared, who was the main electrician, was terrific! Jared maybe wanted off earlier, kept reminding me of their hourly cost. I only kept them for 2 of the 3 hours that Dave, of Jag Electric had expected my requests to take, deciding to get someone else to fix the remainder. Jared and I could not communicate for some reason. His apprentice, Jeremy and I had no such trouble and did the majority of the work. On the way out of my driveway, Jared parked his company van over my large Azalea bush. He pulled forward and asked me if I had wanted that bush anyway? I had to laugh because the entire apartment was beyond surreal. I contacted Jag Electric the next day, and spoke with Crystal, later in the day. She stated she would discuss all with the owners. I have heard nothing since. Water under the bridge, but I would not hire them again.

From my initial phone call, to the in-home estimate and then the work performed, I was very happy. Everything was done professionally and everyone with whom I interacted was very professional and friendly. I guess my only complaint would be that $400 for two hours of work (removal and replacement of two ceiling fans) seems pretty steep. Perhaps I should not blame that on this company since it s very likely that all electricians are extremely expensive.
