Pre-Fabricated Fireplace Unit (Gas) - Repair
Jim Megilligan came out immediately to check my gas fireplace. After checking several things, he determined that I needed a new gas valve. He left my house with the old valve and a check for $150 as a deposit for the new valve. He told me several times that the valve was being shipped and would arrive soon. It has been over a month now and I have not heard from Jim in over 2 weeks. I have asked for my old valve back so I can check the numbers and make certain that I am ordering the correct replacement valve. I have found a supplier, but I need my old valve back. Jim does not reply to my e-mails or phone calls. Jim is a nice guy, but..

"The only way I can reply to this is I do the best I can and use several vender's for materials. I can only tell the customer what I am told and I'm glad he found the valve on e-bay. We have a scheduled install date and I will install valve when he receives it. Hopefully he will add a better rating when job is done. Please check other ratings Thanks, JIM"

Water Heater - Repair or Service
Mr. Megilligan was prompt, professional and consistently interested in my opinions and desires. While this was an unexpected and time critical call, he spent the time to make sure I knew what was going on and that I made the choices that were right for ME. He gave me options that I believe other service people would not. The product, installation and price were all reasonable. In the end, I had a replacement unit that services our needs nicely within the same day. It doesn't get much better than that!
