He did shotty work, and materials, left the work unfinished, demanded more money outside of his final quote and was paid in full, he had other projects and made those his priority, left us hanging with no help to finish the job, we are in our 60s and cant do the work ourselves, I advise no one to hire this man, my new floor has a hill in it and the planks are lifting up in the kitchen Im devastated

Mike took on a difficult water damage project that involved adding new footings and carry beam to a deck so that it could be separated from the building in order to correct water damage from a leaking slider. A new slider was installed, the half-wall below the deck was rebuilt and a new door was also installed for the daylight basement under the deck. Several other repairs were also handled during the time the crew was on site. Mike handled all with calm professionalism and brought all the work in on time and within his estimates. He is one of the best contractors we have ever worked with.

I hired Mike for the first time recently to troubleshoot and offer solutions on a few projects on my home. Mike responded to my initial inquiry within an hour and scheduled an appointment at my home. The project recently completed was the result of moisture damage due to an improperly installed deck. Mike removed my old deck and found that there was extensive water damage beyond what I initially had found. He quickly offered a solution. The damaged wood was replaced with pressure treated wood, and all areas around the deck were expertly sealed with the latest materials technology. Mike then proceeded to build a new deck that consists of 100% pressure treated 2 by 10 framing. The deck was flashed again by using the latest technology in materials and Mike's own expertise in how to flash the deck, after the area had been triple sealed. The finished product makes it apparent that Mike's attention to detail is second to none, and that the strength of this deck is nothing like I have ever seen. I would recommend Mike for any project big or small. He is a consummate professional, that has skills of an old school craftsman using all the latest technology and building techniques. The quality of workmanship on our repaired front porch, stairs, spindles, lattice, and footers and new screen/storm door was that of a MASTER craftsman. The attention to the smallest detail was amazing. James answers emails and text messages promptly, was on time every day, cleaned up the work area perfectly.
