hired this company to reroof my house in 2023. They were timely and got the job done in the stated time frame. The roof looks great, but looks turned out to be very deceiving. The first heavy rain I had water conning through my kitchen ceiling. They came and did a little caulking, best that could be done while it was raining still. As the rains continued, I still had water in the kitchen and now coming through in the master bedroom. After calling again and being told I couldn't go out on my own roof I did just that. Photo attached of the gap between flashing and my siding. The bare wood is my sheathing. I found numerous places like this, 16-20 linear feet with a major gap. I called and asked for an explanation, as that isn't the size of flashing I was told they'd be using. They said that's what they had on the job site. I called BS, as I had the correct size on hand should they need it. Then that changed to that flashing was what their supplier delivered. So they installed it knowing full well it was the wrong size and that there were gaps. I am left to deal with the flashing and replacing drywall that was destroyed

Made me aware of problems I did not know about and was flexible to add more work to the original project and timeframe on completing earlier in the day.

Rarely does a person find a service that rates above 5 stars. If it was possible, we would give James Roofing 10 stars for the work they did for us when they re-roofed our house. For us, what started out as a small leak in the ceiling turned out to be caused by other factors. Not only did the shingles start failing, but the roof was never properly installed when the house was originally built, and again 20 plus years ago, when it was re-roofed. James Roofing responded to our request for a estimate for the leak in a timely manner. Not only that, they arrived early and worked every day until the job was done. The initial estimate was for what appeared to be a problem for one section of the roof. On further inspection, they realized that the whole roof had some serious issues. Along with the shingles failure, it was never vented properly. James Roofing was very good at explaining what was wrong and what needed to be done. I believe their charges where very fair. Their crew was hard working and courteous. When it was all over, the house looked great. Their extra effort to clean up the debris was appreciated.
