Honest, really good price, professional, brings a team to get the job done in one day, very easy to talk with, explains all options well, added to my favorites list. I had to replace a 20 year old central air system and replace all the air venting in the attic due to asbestos. A crew of 8 guys plus the owner showed up on time and went right to work. An amazing amount of things needs to be done when removing and replacing an entire system; but each of the guys knew what they were to do and did their jobs very efficiently with no chatter or any goofing around. It was actually impressive that so many guys seemed to want to complete my job on time. While testing the system, the owner suggested that a small improvement would increase the air flow and came back the next day to install an extra source air vent at no charge. Very conscience and very high character. Obviously, I do recommend them.

I almost never write reviews. But this time I am. Call Ryan at Jamison Heating and Cooling. He’s the kind of person you’re hoping to find. Ryan went far over the top in the way he helped me by fixing my AC condenser unit. Three other companies said they could not find the lead and that I would have to buy a new unit. In addition he was tenacious, determined to find and fix the leak and respectful of my house by wearing booties when he needed to walk through the house to the roof deck where the condenser until is located. He saved me from buying a new until and charged a fair price, only after he successfully fixed the problem. Here are the details. My AC condenser leaked refrigerant and was out of warrantee. I called an HVAC company who had previously done work for me. The first person they sent out determined that there was a leak, but he couldn’t find it. The second person they sent out said the leak was in the filter dryer. Cost to replace the filter dryer (I think it is about a $30 part) and put 7 pounds of r410a refrigerant: Just under $1,000. The 7 pounds of r410a at $50/lb. was included in the cost. I eventually discovered that the unit holds only 4 pounds. I called a different company. That person said there was a leak, probably in the condenser coil but, because it is made of aluminum, it could not be repaired and I would have to buy a new unit: $2,800 - $3,500. Finally, I called Ryan at Jamison Heating and Cooling. Ryan came out at no charge and checked the heater and the AC. After a couple hours (at no charge), he said it was clear that there was a leak in the AC condenser coil. Because of the late hour, we agreed that he would return the next day to find and fix the leak. He did come back, but was not able to find the leak. But, Ryan said he was 100% convinced that the leak was in the condenser coil and that he could fix it. So, he took it home with him and spent hours that day and the next morning until he was able to find and repair the leak from home. Note: No charge if he could not find and fix the leak. He came back, reinstalled the condenser coil, added the refrigerant and proved to me that it was fixed. He also warranted his work for 2 years.
