We found J&B after a bad experience (bait and switch) with another contractor. John is an honest, clear communicator that took time to learn our needs and expectations. Our foreman, Lino, and his team did phenomenal work and have met every single expectation including when I panicked over a paint choice. The scope of work was vast: rebuild a balcony, paint house (two stories), oversized detached garage, and entire perimeter block fence, plus refinish spiral (steel) staircase, paint pool fencing, replace soffit lights, remove old exposed aggregate and create concrete ramps, rebuild bridge and widen front walkway. Inside the home, they finished a set of wood steps to second floor and replaced the worn handrail. Pricing for the entire project was incredibly fair and the work done exceptional. With so many other home projects on our "list", we have already started saving for the next one. Without question or hesitation, J&B is our contractor.

This project should have taken 5 months at most. We are now into the 9th month and we had to hire another contractor to finish.

Required constant attention. Final project never completed to customers satisfaction. New cement work done well.

I had some drywall damage on the outside patio and needed it to be completed quickly as we sold the house and needed to get it repaired. They came out and made it look like new and great and friendly customer experience.

They were professional, thorough and personable.

John and his crew were great. He reached out through HomeAdvisor to bid the project, which was a small paint job. He was able to have a crew out the next day! The painters did a great job and were clean and courteous. We hope to use J&B again on future projects.

Good work and done reasonably quickly. There was one administrative issue at the beginning that threw me off (i.e., the price more than doubled from the initial estimate once the workers came out and saw the place). The actual drywall workers were solid. The foreman (Daniel) did not seem very knowledgeable about construction from a carpentry perspective and therefore made a number of statements that were off-base and he made promises that were over the top/not delivered while justifying why the price needed to be doubled (i.e., "we are going to have to bring in a lot more people, I am thinking of bringing three or four more people tomorrow just to get this done" -- they never did...nor did they need to, the two workers that did the job were fantastic and they handled it in a quick manner). At the end of the day, it was not a flawless process, but the end result was solid and the value for money was adequate.

Very fast service. Great final product. Had a few hiccups with covering up some outlets but they fixed their mistake.

Did a good job, with exception of one item was not lined up evenly.

Owners are pleasant to work with. Pricing is about average. Francisco & Daniel are super nice guys. However, some things they worked on need to be fixed and they did not show up when scheduled. They always showed up on time for the initial work schedule.

He installed 2 different sets of bathroom faucets, hung 2 ceiling fans, and repaired an electrical outlet. Collin has a wide range of abilities and his work is just awesome!

Colin was really a pro. He patched a drywall hole and retextured it. He did an excellent job.

DO NOT HIRE! While this Contractor has many good reviews, mine is not. As an Architect, I have worked with hundreds of Contractors in 25 years and this one is at the bottom of the list. While the fireplace tile work was great, the remainder of work was not. Plaster work was sloppy and not sanded well. Painting was awful with runs down the wall and touch up with the wrong paint and semi gloss used where flat was required. Finally in the interior door replacement, one door was ordered inaccurately 2 times and all hinges on the doors were the wrong finish. I was forced to hire a NEW Contractor who was hired to fix their errors.

Very capable people sent to the wall board, all texture and painting!

Everyone is very nice. My grandchildren were visiting and I was concerned that the tension springs on my door into the garage were too tight and the little ones may get their fingers caught. I call J&B Construction and they sent Jeff out right away. He just finished a job nearby. Jeff was so polite and took care of the problem. I was so relieved. It is a pleasure to work with a company who takes a special interest in your need. This was not a big job although very important to me. I will definitely use them for any of my door needs. They made a simple mistake and forgot a step but when I brought it up they fixed it without question. Great job guys!
