"Well, this review comes as a bit of a surprise! The customer seemed very happy during the process so for them to say that there was zero attention to detail is confusing. We received several text messages saying that things looked great during the process from them. First of all, this house was a cluster. We knew that going into it but we were willing to take it on as we have several others like it. We have 99% of our customers very satisfied with our work. We want 100% but we realize we can't please them all, unfortunately. Even though we try! The homeowner (with little knowledge of building) decided to be the general contractor for this new construction home. They didn't always know what they were doing and that made the process a little frustrating for us. When they thought they were ready for siding they called us. We quickly got on the job. When we got there we realized there were a lot of missing things that needed to be done in order for the siding installation to start. So we wasted time going out and weren't even able to work. That cost us money not them. The framing that they hired to be done on the home was terrible and that makes it difficult to put siding on a home. We didn't complain about that during the install but just tried to do the best with what we were given. They said our wraps were falling off. They are talking about their garage door wraps. We did the wraps but told them that we needed some seal trim to hold the metal down. The customer told us they would get some from their garage door guys. Usually, these seal trims are installed by the garage door installers. We were willing to put them on but they were never provided to us as we were told they would. The wraps don't hold well until that seal trim is installed. We told them that. The bottom line is we DO NOT ask for final payment on a job until our customer is satisfied. They were satisfied with the work and paid us. They never gave us any disapproval at that point. After they paid us they had a couple of minor things they had questions on and we were very responsive and came out another 2 times to do repairs to get things just how they wanted them. Both times we came out, the homeowner gave their approval of what was done. Then several weeks later they had some changes that they decided on (which weren't a part of our original contract). We told them we would come to do the additions but that we would be a couple of weeks out as we were on other projects. They got upset with us for not coming over immediately and they hired another siding crew to come to do the add ons. Then they decided to send us the bill for what the other company did even though it was work that was not on our agreement. If they would have told us that they wanted these things done while we were doing the original installation, we would have just done the work at no extra charge. They weren't asking us for much so we would have just done it at the time. They communicated none of this with us because they were just in a hurry to close on the home and then tried to send us a bill afterward. We were never rude to these customers. We stayed polite throughout the entire install. It was actually a smooth process and we had no disagreements during any of the installations either. Homeowners were quite pleasant up until this review. We think these customers are good people. We do however feel this review is a bit fabricated. We still standby our work and if there are any issues with our installation we are happy to come back and fix anything needed"
"We never got a call for this concern and not sure who John T is for sure. Do you have the right company? Please call or email us so we know how to best help."
