Jesus has poor business practices; I have filed police reports with Roselle (where I live), and Hanover Park (his business location); and filed a petition with Roselle to prevent J&F from doing any future business in Roselle. Jesus over promises and NEVER delivered. I found J&F on HomeAdvisor, and contracted with him for a patio and gas fire pit. While he asked for 50% of the contracted work value up front, he won't commit to a timeline. He cashed my check on 5/22/17 but did not start the work until 7/2/17. When they started the work, he asked for another $500 for the fire pit upgrade (which was acceptable), but he also asked for additional $500 that would come off the second half payment to help offset his incurred costs. Stupidly, I agreed. His crew disappeared for 2 weeks, when they returned on 7/13/17, they tried to correct mistakes in the cutting by cutting a larger hole in the stone, changing the design without my consent. When they cut the stone for the round exterior, they cut a lopsided oval! Before I learned of these errors, he asked for another $600 advance. I asked to meet with him at 8a the following day (7/14/17), to discuss the poor craftsmanship, he agreed, but NEVER showed. I then requested the balance of the materials be delivered. He agreed to deliver the materials the following morning (7/15/17), begging for a chance to make it right and to trust him. That didn't fly. When he didn't deliver by 2:30p, I gave him a last chance, this time threatened legal action. He was quick to respond that the materials would be there. Later that night he changed his tune saying his crew dropped the materials off. Fortunately, I have photo evidence that between the time his crew left on Thursday and Saturday night, no materials had been dropped off, and nothing had changed in the work area. Recently, I had two companies come give me new quotes to fix the disaster that Jesus' crew left. Both companies, separately, commented on the gas line he used could have caused a MAJOR problem from me if it had ruptured as it was not rated to handle firepit level natural gas BTUs. Someone could have been seriously injured or worse. I urge you to not use this company as they are a fraud. I should have been more proactive with this work. Jesus does not deserve a business license.

Fast professional and creative. Good looking driveway. They did extra work for free as fixing walkway to house. Fixed cracks in concrete behind house.
