My new roof is leaking. I have called J & J Home Repair numerous times to request an inspection and repair and they still have not fixed it. All of the rainy weather is a true test for a roof. I am very disappointed. Paul finally came out once and looked at the water stains on my ceiling and he told me his son Kevin would come and fix it. Kevin made 3 appointments with me and forgot to come each time. He did not call to apologize. When I called him, he said "I'm a busy man, mam." When I complained to Paul about their customer service, he became irate. Beware, I would NOT recommend them.

Gave a very competitive quote - started and finished on time. I had a few small concerns afterwards but he followed up and made sure everything was great.

Roofers came on time to start working. Although the roofers were friendly the underlayment was not pulled tight so after the job was finished the roof appeared bumpy instead of a flat and smooth finish. The workers cut a piece of the siding on the house when they were removing an old satellite, I called Paul and he didnt think his workers cut it even after I told him I was standing outside watching. But, they did return 3 weeks later to fix it. Roofers hit my mailbox and left w/o telling me or trying to fix it. I called Paul and he denied his workers done it, told him my neighbors saw them. They came back and half fixed it but its still bent

They were great!! They knew a lot about roofing and provided a great value for the money. The team was very professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend that if anyone is considering a new roof they should talk to them.

Overall, they did a very good job installing the metal roofing.

Where 3 other roofers advised us to install a new roof Paul VanTongeren, owner of J&J Construction Roofing (apparently identical with J&J home repair) told us that he could extend the life of our roof for up to 5 years. This repair was only $700 - absolutely worth it if you do the math. It took Paul's roofing expert less than 3 hours and a caulk-gun to finish the repair. Apparently there is some type of trade secrets associated with this type of repair, because it took some convincing until Paul agreed to climb with me on the roof and show me the the repairs. Delightful!

The job ended up meeting my expectations and everything called out from the contract was taken care of. Two different crews worked on the roof. A little confusion from one crew caused some fitment issues and was taken care later by the other crew. A lot of trim parts needed to be replaced by the second crew and the job ended up taking longer than expectec. I would recommend J&J as they won't leave the job until it's done right.

I have already recommended Paul to others who have in turn used their services. Pleasure to deal with, always answers calls, great team, excellent job, and superior clean up!! NO NAILS, they take extra care to drape landscaping and use magnetic rakes for cleanup. The shingles were provided by a LOCAL GA COMPANY. Good service, good work for the price

Overall a good experiance but my request to be called before they were to show up was ignored, and that would not have been a big deal if I lived on site, but I did not and so I found out they were doing the job on the 3rd day when they were finishing up. So a few issues that could have been avoided if I was there. We got resolution of those issues but it would have been much if I had been there.

Very professional to deal with. Gave an all inclusive bid, which helped in my decision process. Would highly recommend.

A little confusion about removing the roof power vent, but was a good job. Paul provided a copy of his insurance and licenses when he came to measure. Showed up on time and finished and cleaned up the next day. Reliable and responsible contractor.

Very pleased with the new roof, the crew worked in the heat for hours on end and cleaned up after themselfs every day. The owner and his wife were very plesant and knowledgeable, I would recommend them to my friends, it was a pleasure. the owner

When I contacted Paul he had great customer service. His team completed my roof in one day. Once complete I noticed a couple of things out of place, so I contacted Paul. He sent one of his employees out to correct the problem, and now I am a satisfied customer...

Paul was easy to work with. My only complaint is that I've been finding roofing nails in my yard, gutter downspouts, etc. ever since this job was completed about 6 months ago. Not happy about that especially since I have small children who will be playing outdoors this season. And not just a few nails, but dozens!

Very professional, discuss everything in detail. His crew was great, clean up after no mess. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a roof.

Although we had some customer service issues at the beginning with very little response back and forth emailing on begin date. Once they began work. The materials I wanted used, the number of feet of ridge vents to install, the overall workmanship and pricing was very good. There were just a couple of adjustments needed after completion and they were very prompt at taking care of them. I would recommend this company to anyone who was looking for a quality job at an affordable price. I would use them again. They accepted my offer along with my material list requirements.
