Joel, Is an outstanding electrician. In our previous review we'd meant to mention, on top of everything else, he as well, wired/ hooked up and tested, our washer, dryer, garbage disposal and hot water heater! Again, he provides exceptional service that and in this day and age is extraordinary! He really goes above and beyond the extra mile!

Joel Guider, JR was initially engaged during the inspection process of the purchase of our home. He was prompt, responsive, extremely professional, thoughtful and thorough in his assessment and follow-up. Upon ultimately purchasing the farm house we indeed retained his services. Joel reviewed his concerns and our options. In light of circumstances, and to afford peace of mind, we opted for a complete rewire and upgrade to current day code. Notably, the home was constructed in the 30's and had evidently been wired and rewired through the years with a great deal of creative license/interpretation. Joel explained the scope of the job, the process and all that would be entailed in the total rewire and upgrade/conversion, inclusive of raising the existing weather head as per code. The job required removal of several existing fuse boxes/ breaker panels and a myriad of frayed wiring and outlets posing evident hazard. We had concerns relative to preserving the home's existing original wall features, flooring, et al,. He and his team (comprise of his sons) ,worked in tandem and meticulously fished all the wiring throughout attempting to be as uninvasive as possible. Joel showed tremendously keen foresight and proved to be a truly seasoned and skilled professional. He not only brought our home up to code, but as well, provided us intuitively with all imaginable interior/exterior outlets, switches and upgrades/updates for a technologically modern world, now and into the future. He installed our lighting fixtures and motion detectors, floods, carbon monoxide and fire sensors, doorbells. He thoughtfully/creatively over came a number of structural challenges. He displays tremendous integrity and is truly a rare credit to his profession. We feel extremely fortunate that Home Advisor made J&J Electric LLC available to us. Even our county inspector, upon departing, confided, it was a pleasure to inspect and sign off on a job completed by someone who clearly takes pride in their trade and workmanship! Joel, is a good man and someone whose word proved golden. We feel his pricing on the scope and breadth of the job (which took a good full week +) was truly competitive and most reasonably priced. He included a number of thoughtful extras, even installed lighting into the attic and recessed crawl space! This was a truly important undertaking and represents a significant investment. We would/will highly recommend J&J Electric LLC. Because of Joel we won't have to worry about our safety nor posing a hazard to our neighbors. Also, nice to see a family run business with someone at the helm who is doing his best to pass down not only an important trade, but a clear set of truly high standards and values. It was a very positive experience. Joel did an outstanding job. He put a switch in my attic for free when he noticed I did not have one. He taped an air conditioning duct back in my attic when he noticed it had come loose. He worked very quickly and was very neat. He is outstanding. I would give him a 10 on a scale form 1-10.
