CAUTION!!! J & R Remodeling and all associated with this company will take your money up front and leave you hanging. Not completed any job in the house to date, 13 days hence and have walked away from the job claiming there was a breach of contract. Please use extreme caution!!! i have got an independent contractor come through and see the job done by J & R Remodeling and they were shocked at the work or should i say lack of work that was performed and the mess left behind. They do not have a clue as to what they are doing. I was never given a contract and when i insisted they walked away. They have left my home full of debri, tile that has been ripped up and dust everywhere. i wish i could post pictures like the other homeowner mentions. Perhaps we can stop this company from doing this to anyone else.

Caution. Any contractor that wants money upfront should be suspect. He got half money up front. Sent an unskilled worker and his wife to lay travertine tile in shower. Work looked as if it was the first time he laid tile. Lines were crooked and uneven spacing. Owner assured me that he would send his son or would come himself to fix it. Long story short, he never returned after saying five times that he would be there "tomorrow".. I had to hire a qualified contractor to come in and completely demolish his work, including the hardy board around shower. Ruined $600 of travertine and cost another 750 to remove tile from floor and shower surround. I wish I could post pictures of his work. Don't walk away. Run

"BUYER BE WARE" I hired J&R Remodeling (Glen Denson) to do a project, the signed estimate was for $3000 I paid him $1500 down payment then was told by J&R to pay the worker directly of $2032 plus I had paid an additional $312 to be a total of $3844, but now I am being threatened that I still owe another $1200 or he will place a lien on my home, even though I have paid $844 more than the signed estimate says.
