Kevin and his team did an excellent job on replacing my gutters and making it much easier for the water to travel away from the house. Would definitely recommend J and S to anyone looking to repair or replace their gutters.

Stu, Kevin, Meryl and team did an outstanding job. Stu went to look at the property the day after the initial inquiry and I had the estimate in a couple days. Price was extremely competitive. The crew arrived right on time and set up quickly. They were extremely professional and attentive to detail. It was truly a pleasure to book and work with J&S roofing. My husband and I had a few workers and estimates, but J&S was the most professional. Our schedules can be pretty busy, so the follow up and calls really brought them to the forefront. The J&S team arrived on time, worked diligently, and resolved and replaced a roof slope (from a tree branch damage). It's been a couple of months with inconsistent weather, and our new roof is holding up! We will be utilizing this family company again for our shingles. Thanks again! <3

The short story: VERY happy with our complete roof replacement done by J&S a few weeks ago. The company was great to deal with, from first call for info through estimate, day-of work, and afterwards. Clean-up was exceptional, too. Definitely recommend. The longer story: Having done a fair amount of roofs myself many years back I was pretty picky when choosing a roofing contractor. Many of the "roofers" out there nowadays are actually just marketing groups just made up of salespeople, often based in other states (Arizona?!). I wanted a locally owned contractor with a history in the area who I knew would be around to provide after-installation service if ever needed. The "family" in J&S' name is legit; I dealt with dad Stu (owner), his brother, and son. I got quotes from 4 area roofers who met the criteria. J&S was not the cheapest (second-cheapest), but quoted higher-quality materials and had more things included in the price (read the fine print!). As it was mid-winter, they brought a double crew and had my roof done by lunchtime. I was the likely-annoying customer who kept coming out to check things out, watching to make sure the guys were doing things correctly. The crew obviously knew their job and I didn't see anything at all to take issue with (as I mentioned, I knew what to look for, and I was up on the roof at the end of the job to check it out). Special shout-out to their clean-up crew, as I honestly can't find any debris left anywhere on my lawn; not sure how they got it so clean (compared to my neighbor, who got his roof done a month prior by a different contractor and still has stuff he's dealing with).

Customer service was great and the work was done as estimated and the workers were polite and hard working.

Stu and his workers did a wonderful job and their price was very fair. I then rehired J&S again to replace our garage roof. Good work!

There honestly aren't enough stars to accurately rate J&S in the 'value for the money' category. J&S provided a quote that was less than half as much as the next cheapest competitor. And they matched or exceeded all of the other roofers I researched in quality of materials, warrantee, guarantee, certifications, and customer service. Stu and his crew are all seasoned professionals who work fast and clean. Our job was bigger than a typical reshingle (complete replacement of decking plywood & a flat section of roof), yet they still finished the whole job in just 1 day. Stu's expertise in attic ventilation was invaluable in devising a plan to make sure that our roof, attic, and our entire home will be safer, cleaner, and more efficient going forward. The admin staff (Heather and Meryl) are responsive and friendly. They helped me to coordinate with my HVAC contractor who I had on site the same day. J&S is a small local outfit that does right by local clients. I'll happily recommend them to all of my neighbors & friends in need of roofing services. There is no one better in the Bucks/Montgomery County area.
