J and T Contracting

Kept in contact. Was hired to replace 3 corner L brackets and clean gutters. only 1 corner bracket was replaced and none of the gutters were cleaned. Almost $600 for this service. I was not pleased with J&T Contracting's work and ethics and went with KC seamless gutters a few weeks later.

These guys promise but don't deliver. They took over a week to get part way done on a job, trashed every room they started some painting on, including ruining a sideboard and some wood flooring (which we at least could fix) because they did not use drop cloths, and painted one wall the wrong color before stopping. We hired another (professional) group who cleaned up all their mistakes and messes and painted our four rooms in one day without any mistakes or messes. The J&T group acknowledged the ruined sideboard, told us to submit a picture of the damage and their insurance would cover it. We did, several weeks ago, and have not yet had the courtesy of a reply, much less a payment. Unless you want a totally sloppy job, floors and furniture paint speckled and, because the contract gives them a month to finish a job that could have obviously been done in one day, you have lots of time to live with the mess they make, DO NOT hire them for painting.
