Interior Trim and Decorative Moldings Installation
Jason responded to all our concerns, there were a few issues with the Beadboard ceiling install that involved the cutouts for the bathroom fan and A/C vents. These were resolved in the end, so we are happy with the end result. Jason made it right and helped us with some other minor carpentry repairs as we are getting ready to sell and move. He was a pleasure to work with and we would recommend him and his team.

First time iI used Jason and his son (J.D carpentry out of Scituate) In this day and age if and your new to carpentry project's which i was and i picked a local carpenter for my project Well i hit a home run when i picked Jason and his son Dustin They build a roof for my ouside shower and dresssing room enclosure which was a vinyl fence enclosure and did a outstanding job It was not an easy project because of the different heights involved. I was very pleased with the job they did I would highly recommend J.D Carpentry for any carpenter projects you may have

Major Renovation - Multiple Rooms
Where do I start. He charged me for The higher quality windows and installed cheaper ones. He charged me for red oak floors and installed while oak with worm holes. He charged me for tile installations and destroyed 5,000 worth of tile. He walked off the job rather than fix things and declared bankruptcy. I would not recommend to my worst enemy.

"Unfortunately I had hired some very poor subcontractors a couple of months before this job & they did a lot of dishonest things behind my back with money/materials. I had to file for a ch13 as a result to reset & straighten out my business."

Substandard workmanship; leaks not repaired; contractor requested additional monies to correct first repair; sent additional check contractor did not follow through with phone calls or any work as promised when payment was made. Numerous attempts had to be made to contractor that were unsuccessful in recovering money. Involvement in court has been made a requirement through lack of voluntary refund on the part of the contractor.

Jason 's crew is tops....they did the work quickly and skillfully..actually went above it and fixed unexpected problems ....I highly recommend Jason and, in fact, have him coming back for a new project... How nice to find an honest contractor by just a phone call to Homeadvisors....and to Jason....

Installation of windows was sloppy. We had to review work ourselves to insure proper installation.

"As far as I'm concerned if homeowner will not leave name then the complaint should not even be allowed on site. I have done hundreds of window installs & never had a complaint! This sounds like somebody with a personal grudge against me."

I hired Jason to install some sheetrock in my house and I was so impressed with the work he and his guys did. They arrived on time, answered all of the questions I had, and was extremely respectful and professional. I have other projects I need done around the house and will definitely use Jason again. I would recommend him to anyone.

His men did good work while they were here, Jason did none of it. He got half the money upfront and should get half upon completetion. He said he would bring a window to install and finish the rest of the job, he never showed up. He did call though to tell me he wanted to be paid for the remainder of the job, less the cost of the window. NOT HAPPENING. He asked me to change my review. Here's my change: The job is now complete, after over 90 days, it should have taken 2 to 3 DAYS MAX on a VERY Simple job. I will not hire him again. WARNING to anyone: Never pay in full, pay half or less until you are satisifed with the job.

"The error with the window was a manufacturers error,the window arrived to me painted the wrong color.I imediatley e-mailed Patricia of this problem & asked if she wanted me to reorder the window,having not received a delivery failure notice I assumed it went through,apparently I had the wrong e-mail.I waited 2 weeks to hear back & then reordered window which took 6 weeks to get back.I fully appologized & honored the contract with a $420 discount for the inconveinience,I asked Patricia to simply remove her negative comments as it was a miscommunication,she agreed but did not hor her word as I did!!!"
