So this is a post about Jacksonville Budget Movers LLC. You may have seen the review here before and seen it taken down. This seems to be a tactic the owner John likes to use when he gets a bad review then he wants it taken down. This time it is not coming down. 2 weeks ago his company moved my friend from her house. The movers were nice and courteous. When they showed up the box truck was filled with soiled mattresses and parts of a sectional couch and some other miscellaneous things as well as some roaches. After a heated back and forth exchange with the owner and the movers they removed the items from the truck placing them in the driveway for the owner to come and get them. He shows up and collects the trash as there is no other way to really describe these items. The day goes on and the house is slowly moved into the truck. This company is not licensed it is not insured it is not Better Business Bureau member it is not home advisor approved it is not Angie list of rooms they damaged a ton of my household items in the move broken flat screen TV antique coffee tables their movers drug their feet and packing packed the truck horrible not even all the way to the ceiling nothing was protected with rap or blankets I had a household full of inherited and teeth furniture bedroom sets from the 60s mid-century coffee tables grandfather clocks they used rap from an old job around a wooden fold out sectional hand carved room dividing screen only around the top to keep it from opening up did not protect the entire wooden screen I asked for an insurance adjuster to come out due to all the damage and they finally confessed they did not have liability insurance they refuse to compensate after 30 days or more of me trying to be kind and communicate with them then became insulting and rude

Jax budget movers sub contracted complete strangers and allowed them to enter our home. They admitted not even knowing the first and last name of the individuals. The movers they sent stole $450 dollars from us by tricking us into a double payment speaking to myself and my spouse separately and getting double payments from us. We immediately reached out to the owners who assured us that it would be dealt with immediately and asked us to file a police report. This was 5 months ago. They have since ignored our calls and texts and despite a dozen attempts to get the stolen money back, they refuse. When you hire a moving company you are trusting them to send safe and vetted individuals into your home. Jax budget movers did the exact opposite of this. They tricked and scammed us and made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. We are still not even sure what else was broken or stolen at this point. Shame on yâ all. I hope everyone gets to see how incredibly unprofessional you have acted. I hope the $450 was well worth the bad reputation youâ ll receive because I will no longer keep quiet about how you treated me and my family.

They worked until 1am to get me moved last minute.

I recommended them to my customers and they gave all an excellent report that how they been taken care of, how quick the moving services is, and they were all happy.
