We had big problems with the first laminate floor that was put down. According to the manufacturer's rep, it was installed improperly. A year later, Jean installed another floor that has held up well, so even though there were problems, he made good on them. I think their specialty is more in the area of solid wood floors.

I would use Jean and his team again in a minute. They were very professional and very good at what they do. We had a large carpeted area torn up and new wood floors installed. Then we had all the wood floors on the entire ground floor of our home redone - what a messy job! But Jean and his team did their best to keep the dust to a minimum. Jean was the only flooring contractor who said he was able to blend the new floor with the existing so you would not know old from new - again, excellent job, looks great!

We are renovating - so we had other flooring contractors before we found Service Magic. Jean Flooring was exceptional and more reasonable on price than others. Everyone that comes in loves my floor - he was extraordinary! I would highly recommend him to others.

Professional service; price was competetive but not filled with mark-ups in comparison with other estimates received. Craftmanship excellent. Worked with me to enable me to stay in home while floors were being installed and refinished (although I would not recommend in hind sight). Installation for two rooms completed in one day. Jean and his team were great! It was my first time dealing with any type of floor remodeling and they made it easy. Even went the extra mile and took care of some things I was not aware needed to be done. On time, responsive, and very proffessional. Everything done is ONE DAY! Very good experience. Jean and his crew arrived on time and worked straight until the job was over. They installed 400 ft of stranded bamboo which is hard to work with. The floor is beautiful and they did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. I plan to use Jean again.

Jean was very friendly when coming to discuss the job. He made a recommnedation in getting our laminate flooring from Prosource, in Richmond. That was a horrible experience, they didn't get our order in time, when we went to pick up the flooring they drove a flork lift into our trailer, we ended up having to order another box of laminate because the orignal measurements were wrong and they charged us twice as much for shipping than the actual box. Richard the sales clerk was very rude and nasty, he was asked to take pictures of the damage to the trailer by a manager and made the comment "I don't get paid to take pictures" very unprofession

Overall the project looks great! There was little issue with the arrival time, cleanup (multiple staples left inside and outside) and a few un-nailed quarter rounds, but I will definitely use them again. They worked very quickly with the only delay being a few boards short (our fault - we underestimated), but they were flexible and kind enough to wait while we ran out and got another box of matching flooring). We will definitely recommend them to friends and family and will use them again. Thanks Jean!!
